Nice looking. I just prefer the paracord because it hangs a little and keeps my elbow at a comfortable level. Glad you see so many products hitting the market.
I just ordered some paracord grab handles but I wish I had seen these first. I'm not a fan of the way the paracord ones hang down below the top window line. If that bugs me too much I'm definitely getting these.
That’s awesome! As you’ll see from my channel I tested several different handle styles from paracord to solid aluminum ones to these with the mix of aluminum and rubber. Totally down to preference. But Ford really should have put something there from the factory! Seriously!
@@scottdulock386 - That’s awesome! Hope you like them too. I’ve been talking to another person who’s considering powder coating a set of them red! So many opportunities!
We have a soft top, but as I understand it, you shouldn’t have to at all. I removed my bimini top for the purposes of recording the video but you should be able to install them with the roof on no problem. Hope that helps.
The airbag deploys downwards, not outwards. It fires down to go between you and the door, not a over your head. If you look at this video of mine, you can see that I take the airbag covers off so you can see how they work. The bolts that hold these handles in place don’t interfere with the airbags. Hope that helps you picture it. ua-cam.com/video/YgSPijQTgIg/v-deo.html
@ukulele_cheri - The airbags deploy down, not out. These don't interfere with the airbag at all. They are the same bolts that hold the airbag in place, the logic that these handles would kill you is the same that without the handles, the bolts that hold the air back in place would blow out and kill you. They are curtain airbags, they deploy downwards to protect the body. Hope that helps.
According to Reform Design, they are 100% compatible with the hard top as well. I cannot confirm this tho, as we have a soft top Bronco. Check out the product specs here: amzn.to/3q9NsvE

Absolutely, great to have so many options out there for different applications. I’ve tested out about 5 different sets now. All nice options.

Nice looking handles. Thanks for the video.
Thanks for the feedback, I really appreciate it. They are really nice quality handles. There’s a link to them in the video description.
@@CUPRADESIGN I just picked up a pair using your link. Thanks!

Thanks again for the video. It has a pretty neat design and appears to be of decent quality.
Thank you! Yes, I like them, they do look good and they are nice and sturdy, and out of the way!
Do you know if I would I have to remove part of my hard top to install this?

@@CUPRADESIGN That helps a lot. Thanks.
@@jodythomas - Awesome! Good luck!
Won't these kill you if the air bag deploys?

Nice looking pieces!
Do you have the ability to determine if there is clearance with a hardtop?

Hello, this is Crystal from REFORM DESIGN, and we have tested it on hardtop, it can work.
@@shanfeng1025 thanks for the response. I get it can work, but what is the clearance for the fingers on the hard top with the sound deadening heading?
@@shanfeng1025 - Awesome, thank you for confirming! Good to know!
@@CUPRADESIGN Thank you for the good vid!😊😊😊
