    Well I’m 5 years late but this is extremely well stated. Your opening remarks to ‘treat it as a business’ is on point. I’m About to re-launch our gym’s group fitness program. Thanks for the reminders.

    Awesome content my man.
    I'm jumping in. You've been a huge help.
    I've developed a bootcamp for a box gym using what I've learned from you. It was a huge success.
    I've decided to go independent and launch my own training program.
    Having your videos to guide me is a huge benefit. You're a tremendous value to all fitness business owners.

      Thanks HIT. I'm sitting in a Starbucks right now at the beach GSDing. Had a rugged surf session and got pummeled hard today... big waves (for me anyway).

    Hi Bedros,
    I really enjoy your videos as I struggle the most with marketing (as I'm sure most new trainers do!). My question is: I want to run a more advanced bootcamp as my strength and experience is more inline with athletic strength and conditioning... I don't necessarily want to become a S&C trainer for a club or team as I want to run my own boot camp. Without scaring people off.. how would I approach the idea of more advanced training principles and classes? Do you think it's better to start a standard boot camp first and introduce this later on?

      Add a move or two to the class that is more challenging. I turned my pink weight lifting group fitness class into a class that has 40-65 year old ladies using 15-25 dumbbells. Weight they have never touched now doing pretty advanced stuff for reps. Just one move at a time.

    How do we become one of your coaching clients? Not sure I want to take on a Fit Body Franchise but I would love to work with you to learn more. I purchased your Fitness Studio system two years ago and it has worked amazing for me selling in my local World Gym. Now I need to learn how to use those ideas on my bootcamp opening next week!

    your videos are inspiring and helping me out so much!
    I'm 19 years old and i cant stand settling for a desk job. I'm fully certified and i am trying to start my own private outdoor boot camp/ group fitness as its my passion and i will have no overheads as there is no rent for outdoor training where i live. I have an awesome opportunity with a businesses firm that will advertise me within their Ethernet for free! Its a big thing for me to get into and there is so many questions ive been trying to research the answers too.
    - How do i prevent getting too many clients at one session
    - how many sessions should i start with a week
    - how do i know ill get people showing up if i decide to do mornings lunchtimes and afternoons
    Any help would be greatly appreciated from anyone! and keep up the awesome work bedros.

      - Add another training (like different level of intensity)
      - depends on the number of cliënts. I would start with 2 or 3 a week and build it up if your group gets bigger. A training with 15 cliënts average is more fun than average 3 cliënts
      - I have to find this out myself
      Since your comment is 3 years ago, how did you manage your questions?

      Bobby, you can start with as little as 4 a day. Three in the morning and one at night. Then grow from there based on demand.

    How does one justify raising the costs with new clients?

    • @BedrosKeuilian
      @BedrosKeuilian  10 років тому +5

      You really don't need to justify why you're raising your prices in your boot camp because it only impacts your NEW clients.

    • @arnaudenco44
      @arnaudenco44 8 років тому +1

      what if they are friends of customers and ask for the same price?

  • @JJ-ck1vg
    @JJ-ck1vg 8 років тому +1

    bedros ilike your channel and your advice BUT tht rule of thumb raising the price strategy .. seems unfair .. and wouldn't tht have a negative affect .. "your paying 20 why am ipaying 40 forthe same thing" ultimately making them leave

  • @JJ-ck1vg

    so you mean raising the price for the 20 and they are a new seperate class ?

  • @KOTrained
    @KOTrained 10 років тому

    I have a question on the every 20 clients raising your cost $20. Is it every client you sell a new membership to counts towards your 20 clients or is it where you end up at the end of the month?
    For ex: I am at 130 clients. Say I sell 20 new memberships this month but like every month I have people who move, pregnant, opt out, or etc. So even if I sell 20 new clients every month I lose about 3-4 per month. Does that mean I am now at 17 new clients?
    BTW I am attending your fitness business summit in March and really looking forward to it! I haven't attended anything like that before.

    • @BedrosKeuilian
      @BedrosKeuilian  10 років тому

      Bryan, you can simply look at it as your next 20 new clients who come through your fitness bootcamp doors. At some point you'll hit the glass ceiling where you can't raise the price any more... but that will change over time too as you build your reputation and become talked about more in the community.

    My question is if you're building your business referral based that new customer doesn't get in at the same rate as their friend because they joined at a time where you've maybe had a couple of cycles of price increases do you still enroll them at their friends entry rate? Also when it comes to renewals do they renew at the newest rates or keep it the same as when they first started?

    • @BedrosKeuilian
      @BedrosKeuilian  10 років тому +1

      Anthony, your original boot camp clients will pay one price because they came on board sooner. The people they refer will pay your current price. And ALL will renew at their existing rate with NO rate change. Loyalty to your clients is HUGE.
