Sheesh. I thought I had everything I could ever need for camping. Turns out that I don’t. The thing is, I now have so much lightweight gear that I need someone to follow me in a big van. Keep the videos and recommendations coming. They’re the best thing on UA-cam. I’ll just need to find a way to deal with my GAS or find a pal with a van.
A big van! 😂😂 I know what you mean though, must get addictive especially with all the ultralight stuff out there. But I ain't paying 150€ for a helinox zero camping chair to save a few grams 😅 Hope you get out on a trip soon Jim! 😊

@@Lady_Brompton Always good thanks my Irish Beauty , each morning when we wake we have two choices = happy not happy, I tend to choose wisely, hope your next video is not far away, rarely have I met someone who makes my soul smile. Hi Lady Brompton, glad to hear from you again here, it's been a while and i thought that maybe you got into some other activities and leave us here without your funny, informative , and sometimes heartbreaking video's of your adventures. I guess that these several items will be very usefull if you travel on a bike tour, most important thing i took from it is the bag of wine, that will come in handy always. Slainte!😇

Welcome back! Not that you've been anywhere. Well other than camping of course. Would love to see more vids from you. I like them short cos I'm getting old and don't have several additional hours to be wasting on You Tube. Bite Size ones are super, just not mosquito bites. Can I borrow that bite away pen?

Found the silk sleeping bag of particular interest, as I often struggle to get the temperature just right on my various jaunts.

Great list, and a few items I have never seen! I also bring a chair and a wine flask with me on every bike trip. That water bucket is a good idea. Thanks for the great tips and the hilarity. Make us some more videos!

vielen Dank für deine Top Ten, den Kaffee Filter sowie die Solar Leute schon mal auf die Wunsch-Liste gesetzt. Zu deinem bite away kann ich Dir alternative einen kleinen Heat IT ( fürs Handy )empfehlen....der ist am Schlüssel-Ring immer dabei und ganz klein und hat die gleiche Wirkung.

Any kit specifically for Lady Brompton given she is your beast of burden?
She's perfect the way she is Alex. The only thing I'll update is maybe a mirror, a better kickstand and someday perhaps a Brooks saddle but I feel bad to change her when she's already perfect 🥹 I could do a video on the bags and all that shite.
I'd be interested in seeing the bags...particularly the size of the rear backpack and how you attach it - I'm struggling with that decision
@@wayneriley7557 I'll add it to the list! I can make a quick one for you. The reason I choose the backpack on the rear is so that you are free to move around (watch lady brompton secret trick ~ Tour set up). You attach the bag to the saddle and it's nice and sturdy on the rear rack with the straps that are included on the rear rack 👍😎
One benefit of this backpack setup (as compared to side pannier setup) is how it keeps all the weight centralized, and keeps your profile narrow. I find it much easier to pack my brompton, attached as you have it with a backpack on back, than to balance the load between side panniers on my full sized bike. And it’s surprisingly stable, even fully loaded. Also, the bag on front that attaches to the frame is better than bags that attach to handlebars or front fork. The Brompton still feels easy and nimble to steer, even when fully loaded
Exactly what Amy said! Glad we are both twinsies in the touring set-up! It's really sturdy and makes for a smooth cycle. I also like being mobile and having the front bag as a shoulder bag, the backpack on my back and then carrying my foldable Lady Brompton...with panniers it wouldn't be possible to fold anymore. Defeats the purpose of going touring on a foldie!
The bite away device looks like a pregnancy test oy vey!!
