- How to make magnetic wire connectors to simplify some connections with your projects. Great for battery boxes, external sensors and LEDs.
You will need:
Some copper tape with adhesive backing
Some wire, solid core or stranded
Soldering iron and solder
Some MAGNETS!!!
This is cool but led has a cathode and anode. Would I need two magnets or can I connect both to the single magnet to get it to work?
Hello David, I was wondering what type of magnets are you using? Do you have any references?
does anyone know how to get it from any online shopping site?
maybe use the internet? :)
sweet. who needs "littlebits" ;)
That's pretty cool. I never thought of that! I can see the potential as a safety feature for physically involved systems like robots
This is neat. How many volts do you reckon gets produced?
Thank you! That's a good idea.
I would like to pass 12 volts through a plastic roof on my jeep without drilling holes in my top....to run roof cab marker lights. Any ideas?
I don't know of a 12v wireless power module but you could feed this one 12v from your jeep battery. You would get 5v on the other side and then boost it to 12v. Not every efficient but worth a go. I have one of these modules and it works through about 8mm of plastic.

Thanks. In my perfect world someone would have invented a self-contained cab marker light, battery operated with remote control that I could turn on and off inside the jeep. Attached to the roof with some adhesive tape.
Go out the window
Hey how's it going?
Great idea!
