So far its been this board and the tynee explorer i was gonna buy for long commute over max speed. I only use top speed to beat the traffic lights , to get home faster and beat the rain when possible long riding .comfort is most important to me follow by the durability, aesthetics and including accessories.good review.
I was between the two boards too. The waterproofing on the explorer seems like it would increase the longevity, and the reverse switch on the remote seems very convenient. But the comfort, presumed lack of battery sag, and wowgo branding have led me to choose the AT2+.
I recently bought the original AT2 and I must say, I kinda regret not waiting for this new one. The range on this new board is really impressive! I could do without the speed though... too fast for me lol. The only thing I don't like about it is the blue outline on the grip tape.
Thank you for your support for WowGo.🙂 The grip tape of AT2 Plus is actually more purple (due to the light and equipment when shooting, there will be a certain color difference)
Nobody says you HAVE to floor it and it does have 4 speed-modes. I'm not thrilled about the outline either, but I'd just fix that with a spray-can, masking tape and some black plastic bags to cover everything but the edge. Would also give it an individual touch 🙂
If you ever have the time for some fun & a pun, you should visit Copenhagen, Denmark. It's an amazing city to ride in - specially during the summer. And it's legal as well. About the pun: We also have the Ama'r (Fælled) Park. It's not just a funny name thing, but also one of my favourite spots to e-skate. About 1 1/2 by 1 mile big and full of smooth, curvy dirt & concrete paths through beautiful nature.
Haha no way! I will add it to my bucket list that I need to visit the Ama’r Park 😄 The funny thing is I was supposed to visit Copenhagen last year but my work plans changed :( I plan to go in the future
Sure. They’re quite different boards one is carbon the other bamboo and flexy. The AT2 is immensely comfortable and carves like a dream. The hurricane is more power and range focussed but less comfortable
⚡ *Dope edit* ⚡ Bit disappointed to hear it's 604Wh when most boards in this price range are over 700Wh at least - I know because I Bought a board with over 700Wh Cheaper than this. Nice design but acceleration and braking are way softer than boards in the same category. Really like the flexy deck, shape and aesthetic. I see Venom bushings 🤩 glad to see more brands goin with Venom. Been usin them for years. Riptide are good but people should try both to see which they prefer. I recommended people use 4 different duros for bushings, 1 duro for each kingpin pair, softest duro at the front, hardest at back. I use 90a, 93a, 95a and 97a.
Thanks man!! Boy you sound like you really mastered your bushings setup haha ⚡️bet it carves like nothing else and is mad stable In terms of the battery capacity I’m imagining it’s hard to cram in so many cells because of the grooves on the flexy enclosure. Carbon decks allow more capacity. The brand of the cell may also have a part to play. But saying that the Hadean bamboo (also with flexible enclosure) has a sizeable battery at just under 700Wh. You raise a really good point! Will mention it in full review 💪
@@ASeSkater Hadean went with cell brand used in Verreal boards, the lishen cells, they pack a lot into each cell! Apparently lishen is popular in the drone world. My RKP boards are dialed in right for me but DKP takin longer to fine tune 😂 I'm experimentin with flat washers vs cupped for DKP, especially cos the bushing seat in Verreal is quite restrictive so cupped washer restricts movement a bit too much.
Dope vid man! Can’t wait to see more man. So with the unboxing… did you film the over vids GoPro shots separately too head on shots? If so man that’s good! But if both filmed at the same time even more impressive!!!
Thought u had stopped making vids. Old 1 came up on my recomended list saw i wernt subcribed i know i was. i got a year or so vids to catch up on. PS i got CHI BATTERY SYSTMES bamboo GTR boardbank / charge & ride unit as u make good vids maybe u wanna borrow it & review it

I’m not so sure. Because today’s standards of bamboo dkp boards only includes around 4 boards. Carbon boards are very different and it’s easy to pack far more cells in the deck, and bigger cells
@@ASeSkater Not talking about bigger battery but higher voltage and current. Seen a few new board that put out a lot more using 2700 cells like the Acedeck and Tynee explorer. This guy is extremely knowledgeable and detailed in reviews. ua-cam.com/video/B7dbzKJrW3I/v-deo.html

Thank you!! Yes I will do a range test later and include it in the full review 🙃
Did the cops turn on their lights when they saw you were riding a e-skate at 17.34 or was that just a coincidence?
Aha no thankfully our cops here are awesome! A coincidence and I edited it to the beat of the music for extra impact 😂
19:22 What track is that on the outro, who's it by?
