Power BI REST API; What it is and Why it is Important

You can interact with the Power BI objects in the Power BI Service through a set of APIs called Power BI REST API. The Power BI REST API can help automate tasks, build tools that work with Power BI, the configuration of Power BI outside of the platform, and embed Power BI into a third-party application. In this article and video, I'll explain REST API, why it is useful, and a few examples.

I have referred to your articles and it helped a lot, to dive in further deep, Do you refer any book(s) for Power BI programming (covering major PBI programming aspects like APIs, Power BI embedded, set-up and configuration, Admin/scanner API, service accounts, security and authentication, PBIRS rest API etc.) I follow with Ted Pattison on PBI programming but sometimes I prefer to read and develop code, rather than watching the cooking show. What if you have a Search Bar in Power BI Slicer. Your data source (SQL Server table) table has a lot of duplicates. How would you remove the duplicates in the searching slicer?
