U didnt understand those nostalgic Childhood memories 90's indian kid had.There is literally no creative ads like this now on tv.They r pretty much straight and promoting their products in a simple manner. I think in the US, you're used to huge portion sizes. That's the flexibility we have in India, we can have portion sizes as small as one single wrapped candy. Or even single use shampoo sachets and so on.

For example you are buying mentos stack of 10 candies in one item, also u have only option to buy that as bunch of 10. Just imagin 10 candies bunch (one whole stack) 10 dollar.. In india small vendors they buy it and split it into one one pieces they sell it for 1.20 dollars each. Later on multi-million compnies adopted that idea specially in india n Bangladesh u can find those options, that's y each candy in single wrapper..
