Very interesting point of view, I truly enjoyed this video. Didn't agree with everything of course but most is really about personal perspective or preference. Only one thing really stood out, when you said it was a 30 or 40 hours game, because I have 730 hours on the trilogy so that seems nuts to me :p Granted this was about ME1 and it's the one I played the least but I still have at least 150 hours on that game alone and oh by the way the fetch quests ? They matter in ME3, from an RP perspective and a minuscule amount of points towards the goal ;)
Thanks for the feedback! I can totally see spending that number of hours on the Mass Effect games, especially if you explore all the nooks and crannies and try all the different narrative outcomes. I tend to only spend hundreds of hours on open world or sandbox type games. Cities: Skylines, Kerbal Space Program, and Skyrim are my top three in terms of hours played. Single-player, that is. Don't ask me about my World of Warcraft /played . . .
MIKE MEERS . I guess you really have to be able to do ME in other languages as well. To me Mike Meers did SHEPARD in all variations much to militaristic.

The developers should had taken notes from MOST DANGEROUS STREETS IN THE WORLD about Truckdrivers in the Third World DESIGNED MORALITY SYSTEM - I agree RENEGADE vs. PAAGON - absolutely right, the concept here was a slightly reworked method from JADE EMPRIE (also a BIOWARE RPG if someone can´t follow. There you have as a plaer to choose between the teachings of the OPEN HAND ( very social ) and the CLOSED HAND ( very egoistic ) As in ME the both options are neither good not evil for themselves
Tell me more about that Lucky Charm. You're referring to the sphere I couldn't interact with because I didn't pick up an item in the Citadel? Do you have a source for that Arthur C Clarke story reference? Thanks!

For a no nonsense fem shep character who wants to get things done, Garrus is the only romance option, from an RP perspective. Meaning that in ME1 you're out of luck but in ME2 ....
