Dude you saved my ass! I couldn’t find anything to remove the boot trim. I screwed up and installed a short shifter without locking the shifter home (lost 1st gear) so I needed an immediate clutch adjustment. Without your help I would have certainly destroyed the boot ring. Thanks so much.
