I am not a Hindi speaker beyond a few words. I am a native Kannada speaker. When I hear shuddh Hindi spoken on some UA-cam channels, I notice that I understand so many words more because of the shared Sanskrit words. I think sanskritized Hindi will do a great service to bridge the linguistic faultlines in this country.

Exceptional intellectual discussion based on individual’s experience going through life. I really hope that these youngsters will continue their efforts to move the needle towards where they want it to go because decolonizing the Indian mind is no easy task! Good luck!

Kannada. Telugu, Malayalam and even Tamil are at home in sa sanskrit based Hindi. So are Bengali, Gujarati as i know. Because Sanskrit is panIndia for thousands of Years, ageless.

VERY important point at 55:52: I have been saying this for a long time. The languages Indians speak are not really Indian anymore. And words of substance or importance are either English, Arabic or Arabized Persian (especially true for Hindi). If you look at native or Sanskritized words used in everyday speech, they're rarely more than monosyllabic, simple sounds.
Indians speak what can be described as an Esperanto/Ebonics bhasha. Just use any word (more often English, Arabic or Persian), and have a jugaad of vocabulary and syntax in a sentence, and people will basically understand what you're saying.
Language more than anything sustains civilization. The written word and oral communication are every bit as hard as physics. Written and oral erudition (in one's native language) requires discipline. It's the need of the hour to cultivate this ability.

Such a bad comparison. Esperanto is an artificial language. Ebonics doesn't borrow words any more than Manak Angrezi does.
