Exploring California's Hellhole Canyon - Valley Center

March 17, 2024. This might be our most technically challenging trail to date! There were many moments you could see the horses really thinking through their next steps. We climbed up Paradise Mountain (but not all the way up!) and got some really epic views along the way. This beautiful trail is located in Valley Center, CA, and was hosted by a super friendly and helpful park ranger, Joe!

We did about 5 miles in 2 hours. It was the incline and decline up the hills that really made the trail feel extra long!
