Claw hammer Sanxian

My good friend Clarke messing around on the sanxian in the village of Xizhoucun, near Dali in Yunnan, China. We were on tour in various parts of China in the winter of 2016 into 2017. We toured with our band Jenny and The Hog Drovers, along side Chinese band Manhu and Canadian-American band, Mountain High. At the end of the tour, we ended up all making a record together in our friend Paul's house in Shanghai. You can listen to that record here: jennyandthehogdrovers.bandcam...
The Bandcamp banner photo is one taken of Xizhoucun, up the in the mountains where we drank moonshine and slept in this old Mao era banker's estate that Chris, the Canadian, had a 70 year "loan" on. Good times. This melody lives on forever.
