One update at a time and you will get there. The soccer moms really killed the 2 Door's and they are now a dying bread. We gotta do whatever we can to keep one of the most awesome GM creations alive.
@@OBSOutpost I bought a 97 Tahoe LT. Front seats are ripped. Buying seats from a newer model looks to be cheaper than reupholstered and likely more comfortable too.
@@MrRrodgers 1000% correct on all. Look for 2015+ GM Full size truck/SUV seats, it will also dramatically increase your trucks value when done with the swap.
@OBSOutpost Can u clear some things up for me if I rear seat swap does it have to be the 3-row seat from a Yukon or Tahoe but what about the 3 seater 2nd-row seats can we use those
@@96tahoe2dr4 Yes it has to be a 3rd row, 2nd rows are way too wide and wont fit.

This is a pretty cool setup. Just when I thought I was done doing mods on my 97 Yukon not to mention I just finished doing the leather on all my seats. Definitely dig on that space under the seat though. My subs are under mine now but this opens it up really nicely

Does the third row seats of 00-06 or 07-14 fit on the obs 2 door tahoe?
Technically it will fit but not recommended. older 3rd rows need to be mounted far back and also sit up high. The 2015-2020 is the only seat I recommend since it cantilevers and mounts in the same position as the stock seat
I have a 4 door so maybe it is different but the seats are one of the features that sold me on the truck in the first place. Why would anyone want to remove them for seats that look like they have zero padding. The seats are like lazyboys and something that is unique in the OBS trucks.

Is there a video for the front seat install. Can you move the front seats further back as I have the drivers seat in my 95 yukon all the way back to get the necessary room to drive the vehicle

Hear me out.. to get the capt seat look could you use 2 left seats since you cut the ears off the mounts? 🤔🤔
Captains seats will not work in the rear. I should say that you can physically put them back there but they will sit up way too high and you would need to mount them far back on top of the cargo area. I have seen a few guys attempt this and It ends up looking like stadium seating sitting in the nose bleed section. Not the clean look I go for.

92-94 2dr obs only yukon and blazers were first introduced. 95-99 there were only 2dr tahoes and yukons. The 2dr obs suv didn't exist yet during 88-91

@@PEDR0SKI I dont but I can tell you that the pass side seat has a ton of forward travel that I can get in the back with no problems and Im 6'2" tall.

I want to do this to my Tahoe and I Found some seats off a 2020 Escalade but I can’t get them to open I believe they might have to be plugged in any suggestions on how to open it
you will need to wire 12v direct to the motors or get the harness and switch from the donor truck and then wire power to the switch.
Is it possible to design brackets to take 2 of those single seats and install separate to leave space for center console?

Do you have any brackets for dropping a 3rd Row Seat into a 2000 Tahoe Limited? The Limited does not come with a 3rd seat. Some have used brackets from Suburbans (2008) but I want to know if you offer some sort of bolt down contraption. A 3rd row seat from 2000 and up is the goal.
Sorry we dont do any rear brackets for 4 door SUV's. depending on what year seat you have, eBay sells hook kits for 2007-2014 3rd rows that would work

No this is specifically for the 2 dr Tahoe, Yukons. Suburban 3rd row mounts different. You might be able to just drill new holes and mount in your truck

fronts will work on 4 door. I make brackets to add rear captains seats as well.
What about a 2022 3rd row?
I am waiting to confirm to see if the mount is the same as the 2015-2020. If so then we will market it for that year, if not we will develop a GEN 5 3rd row bracket
