give urself some grace i also been working outside like all summer! we put a 4 foot above ground pool in by ourselves but we had to level the yard which meant we had to dig dirt out of our yard since i have no level part at all . 😂 talk about hard work ! i also have a maintence free deck but underneath i didn’t want to see the expose wood boards so i painted them a dark grey to blend in and im putting outdoor curtains up under the deck with lights hanging . i also been working inside going thru stuff for a yard sale once it cools down . it’s hard working outside then come inside and have a million things to do 😂 we moved in last summer and it’s been non stop plus hubby left in june for training with his job so he finishes up the end of August . i cannot wait
Sounds like you been putting in the work too! Ohhh, I bet it's going to be so nice when your done! We want to put a pool up too, but it won't be till next summer. Yes, I've been struggling trying to balance inside and outside work. usually one of them ends up neglected while the other thrives lol 😆

I used to be able to clean house like you! I loved our single wide trailer! But we moved in with my dad after momma had to go into a facility due to Alzheimer's. Daddy ended up deeding the house to me, but I believe I had more room in my trailer! I became physically disabled at 37 and I will be 66 in Sept. My hubby passed away in March this year, so like you, I have really been struggling. He helped me so much with everything, even showering & dressing. He suffered a severe spinal cord injury on Nov 1, 2022, was in & out of hospitals and rehabs until July 6, 2023 when he had to be admitted to a long-term facility. Even tho I struggle with constant pain & have to use a walker, unless I was terribly sick, I spent time with him every day I was able. We prayed together every night. I so need to get my bedroom cleaned but its so hard since I can only do a little at a time now, but my mind still thinks I can do like I did before my problems started & I end up suffering worse than normal. I worked after school from the time I was 16. Got married at 17 & we were married for 48 years, together 50. My last job was a medical transcriptionist/IT at a local hospital plus we had a business we opened & were there in the evenings and weekends. Plus I took care of our home, finances, etc for both places. I was constantly busy. We had our only child, our son, after married 5 yrs, so I took care of him, too. Then, suddenly, I was flat on my back unable to do hardly anything. It got so bad I would pray at night for God to just let me die, I felt like such a burden. Now, my only sweetheart is gone, but my son & daughter-in-love moved in with me to help me some, but they both work so I'm alone all day. I just love your attitude! No matter what it is, you put your heart & soul into doing it! Watching you run the lines when y'all moved your trailer & all the stuff you did reminded me so much of how I used to be. My daddy & momma taught me so much. I'm so proud to see such a young woman taking care of things the way you do! Not many are like that nowadays. I greatly admire you!! God will bless you, even after the rough time you've had. Be proud of yourself and all you've accomplished! I'm a complete stranger but you have impressed me greatly! I'd loved to have had a daughter like you!! God bless y'all and keep y'all in His care always! Sorry this is so long, but I just wanted you to know that all your hard work has not gone unnoticed! I’m so sorry for all you’ve been going through. I’m like you. I have to do a little at a time and that’s really frustrating. Some days it’s mentally hard to do things. My husband had a stroke in March. He has dizziness and short term memory issues. Hugs. Just keep pushing it’s all we can do.
I'm sorry to hear about your husband. I never understood just how heavy grief is until my dad died. Idk about you, but it brings me some sense of peace knowing I'm not alone in losing a loved one. I'm not the only one hurting, and grieving. idk if that makes alot of sense. I may not be able to completely understand what your going through, but I have seen my dad go through it. from being able to Conquer any task he wanted, to hardly being able to do his daily activities.
