    This machine looks awesome. Wish it had some more reviews . Would like to know how reliable it is and how intuative user interface is before i buy it.

      Since there are a lot of options there is learning curve but since there are many dedicated knobs and buttons there is much you can do while the machine is running - but since I do not own it I cannot tell how it compares with the competition!

    Really cool video. How did you record the audio though - it feels like there's a lot of distance between the sound and your speakers and all the power of the sound is lost. You can sense that there would be punch and sub bass there but you can't feel it. Is it just a mic recording? I can tell it's going to sound great but you don't get the real force of the sound.

      when Jürgen is talking + playing it is the sound of the speakers when he's improvising a longer peice in the end then it is directly from the mixer so that you can also FEEL it :-)
      Because this was done more for how the machine works the featires what it is capable of.

      Jomox stuff cuts through a mix for sure ;)
      AND if you look for ''THAT BASS SOUND'' it is probably not only a synth what you need...but who knows?... Jomox might be all you need anyway. ;)

      The apla base sounds very good, but the sample management is from th 80´s and realy not from today@@amazeus1980

      no, only a stupid chain mode with rows one pattern after the other without any repetition of a pattern say 1,2,3,4,5,1,2,3,4,5,1,2,.....
      I asked Jürgen several time to give more flexible Chain modes or a song mode, but nothing happens. @@aurelaliasflorian

      @@DayflightTrok thx, I know what you mean: press Pattern (step) button 1 and 5 at the same time and it will repeat these 5 patterns, right? - aber echt ne, das hätte ich nie gedacht! I once heard someone saying Alphabase is a better modern 909 and so I was not doubting a second about that this function could be missing - I bought/ordered a second hand one two weeks ago, let's see how it is

      You talking about the Chain Mode. But this is stupid: 1-2-3.4-5-1-2-3-4-5-1..... each pattern plays only one time before it´s plays the next pattern. In a real song mode I can decide a) how often a pattern plays before it changes to the next an b) the pattern sequence can be free. @@aurelaliasflorian

    Obviously each drum is triggered in a binary fashion. It there any way to edit the velocities? In all videos I've seen, the individual beats are at a constant volume. Thanks

      Yes: You can edit shuffle either per track or globally.

    Really, really nice drum machine. Love it! Please replace the video/audio guy with someone who can actually use a camera and record high quality sound.
