Just got mine on Monday. When I tried it I just instantly thought this is what a classic Bookers profile is. And I am great with that. Haven’t seen one in my area in 4 yrs (Kitchen Table was last one I seen). So I had to grab it. Not disappointed one bit.
I got dark honey and roasted peanuts. Then on backend I got a dark berry. In my notes I mentioned blackberry jam. Then there is the spicy finish. Thought it was the best batch of 24 thus far.
Totally agree. Ive only had one pour but thought it was one of the more fruit heavy Bookers in a while but the finish was pretty short for me; the batch size of 300 barrels or so being noticeable. I do love the direction these are heading.
I buy every Bookers and always will. There is nothing like them and they all taste great. Better than this one, worse than that one, whatever. It's like Corvettes, some are better than others, but they all rock and are worth the money.
These have become much more available and the price has come down ~$20 in the last 2 years around me. In '21 & '22 I only found 1 batch each year. In '23 I bought 3 of 4 batches and this year I've found all 3 that have been released so far. Just shows we are past "peak bourbon" with availability and price both improving.
I didn’t think this had a strong peanut forward character. Both my brother and I got a lot of fruit on palate entry and then a nice red-hot candy finish. Both of us thought the peanut was subdued.
Meh. Classic Booker's is a pass for me personally. Recently found a store with the last batch I had actively sought out when I got to try; Kentucky Tea 2022-3 and a bonus 2018-01 (!) Kathleen's Batch sitting with it. Your first Booker's review I could find was the 18-02. Those where simpler times I tell ya 😅 Cheers Jason.
This is the best bookers batch in years in my opinion. It’s so good.
Just picked up 2024-03 might be the best Bookers I’ve had we’ll see what 04 brings us cheers my friend

I received a “Master Distillers Batch” as a gift and love it! Best Booker’s batch I’ve tasted in a couple years.
This was my first Booker's purchase. I love it. I got a little bit of sweet lemon, sugar cookie, and caramel/peanuts.

@@scottschemahorn7151 I can see a hint of jam. Loved the honey roasted peanuts and chocolate combo I got too.

It's a great batch if you're a fan of bookers. I bought 2.
Nice review! I’m getting it next week from my store owner friend for 72.00-75.00 so I buy them every time:) Cheers!
That's way under MSRP! Heck ya!
@ it’s his cost. He only does it on certain bottles and usually only one bottle. Really cool of him though.

Debatable 😂
@@brendancasey2283 That would imply that you can change my point of view, which you cannot, so no, no it is not debatable.🤪
Lol
It’s a great whiskey. Age isn’t everything.
They're okay. Some are pretty great.
2024--02 is what sold me on Bookers in the first place. Thanks for the review will be on the lookout for the new one.
IMO one of the best bourbons I’ve ever had. Couldn’t believe how smooth it was at 65%. Massive fan of it
Always a fan of Booker's but still longing for that Kentucky Tea again.
Cheers, big dawg!! Banger review, as usual 💪🏼🙌🏼✌🏼🤙🏼👏🏼🥃🥃

Love that tshirt!
I thought 2024-03 was very good. I'll have to go back and compare it to the other batches once I get 2024-04. Thanks for the review!

Where’s JayG with the reminder to smash the like 👍??😂
I found the 04 batch today Jimmy's 😊

Kentucky Tea!
I like this one. Get a lot of citrus on the palate which was a pleasant surprise. Glad I picked this one up.
Passed at 100, got ECBP C924 instead and saved 30. 😅
It’s a little too rich for my blood, but I still do enjoy the bookers bottles I have.
2024-4 is out now in OH. Any reviews on 2024-4?
@@jackevans3856 not yet. I'll get one soon
@@TheMashandDrum I grabbed one. It’s pretty good. Traditional with a little flare. Maybe bc it’s tribute to JR. Let us know what you think soon. Tks.
Did you post a sagamore review earlier? I swore I seen a vid about the 9 year.
@@JayQuintana08 it was a live. Formal review coming Thursday
@ Sweet! Thanks for giving me time to find a backup 😂
Pricey but good if you have extra cash to burn.
I thought Shiny Barrel was a good batch too. It was just overshadowed by Country Ham. Same year.
Where did you get the shirt?

oh, and third!!
Humm interesting
Only had 2 bookers and don't like either of them. Apprentice and Mighty Fine, both still sitting 3/4 full on the shelf.
Love that purple label.
Looking like a Baltimore Ravens bottle
GO RAVENS!!
