QUICK SAFETY NOTE: IF you are older as I am ( 70 ) or one with weaker upper body and you get up on a ladder with it, with it FULLY EXTENDED, the cutter part being ABOVE the limb, BE AWARE when the cutter cuts fully through the limb the WEIGHT of the cutter will FALL QUICKLY, so be prepared to brace yourself for that and or just let the head pivot and fall to where you can maneuver it better, safely before coming down the ladder
I like that saw too but for some reason the pole became hard to adjust. It would not move so I could adjust the length. This was on the second time I used it. Any suggestions? Thanks
I love my Kobalt 80-volt - 5ah battery - 10" Bar - 6 ft / 8ft foot Pole Saw. I have been using it for more than 3 years now. It works great on my southeast Louisiana farm clearing property that a hurricane went through and trashed all the trees in the woods of our 20-acre farm. Today I'll be cutting a 6-inch limb off of a tree out front.
There is also a Portland chainsaw and that thing is not a slouch even though it is pretty cheap. I cut through railroad ties with no problems whatsoever. It's also a lot quieter than the gas chainsaws that I have.
It comes with an Oregon chain So one should be available and I believe the part number is on the bag when you get it. And the thing works like a dream, cut through wood like hot knife through butter.

I got one for $65 and it worked flawlessly! Only problem I ran out of trees to trim! Definitely recommend!!
