This is the video I was waiting for. I'm tired of hearing commentators talking about what OKC may or may not need. Presti is the guy with the plan.
#InPrestiWeTrust
OKC could have won a title this year if he had tried to improve the team at the trade deadline.
@@ryanb7186 Nah, all options would have made the team worse.
All options like Gafford and PJ? @@1O1O11
@@ryanb7186 a lotta things could happen. There's no way you can make this season a negative in any way shape or form. OKC was a real threat this season and we are only gonna get older + better
This feels like a church of the Thunder sermon and I love it 😂
I love listening this man speak, last couple of years I never missed his exit interview not even once it's just so educational
Same here, love Presti
Yo facts man. His exit interviews always cheers me up and gets me ready for next season. Love this organization and GM. #thunderup
It’s crazy how excited I’ve been to listen to this presser.
Sam presti talks I listen simple 🤝🏾
I’m convinced Presti could talk himself out of a terrorist hostage situation
Man we were so close to make the finals this year it’s kinda crazy. After seeing what Dallas doing to Minnesota we’re right there
Presti really likes Giddey, so unless he gets someone pretty extraordinary we'll be seeing Giddey suit up next year. Also 100% agree on his observations about Giddey's 'never give up' attitude - That's why I'm a big fan.
Yeah. No. LOL
Caruso + thunder to the moon
This GM is the best in the league and deserves accolades for being just that! I can't imagine running a ball club that's of college age players and manage to be #1 seed and conference division winners.
Two yrs ago you lost 58 games this year you won 57 games, ain't that something?
Sam Presti will always have a job in the NBA, you can't say that about alot of GM.
Roaring Thunder ❤
Daniel Larson reference?
43:30 presti on Giddey
2.5 hours of honest insight from one of the greatest minds in the sport! Respect.
year after year we come back to this moment. Presti is one of the greatest
Sam Presti!! What an honor to hear him speak.
Best GM in the game.
Friendly reminder he’s a Spurs product so makes perfect sense.
OKC loves Chip!
I appreciate his messaging. Thunder fans are lucky to have had Presti. He’s the type of person to steady the ship and a great leader the players and organization can look up to. Good luck this offseason!
I love Sam man great season imo disappointing ending but i think this we be the last year we don’t win a championship next year i think it’s us
Sami Presti is the teacher and the journalists are the students.
Always the best video of the year.
Thanks for your time Mr Presti. You enrich our team and give our supporters a sense of belonging ❤🏀
Man i wish i lived over there so i could go to a game. Presti such a great speaker, gives me so much confidence for the future
Rip Bob Barry Jr
Very impressive as always from Sam Presti… best GM in the league. This man is a basketball and personality genius. #ThunderUp
I want to win several championships so 80 million a year is crazy. Personally I take a pay cut because I want to win at the end we can negotiate a big payday on my last contract.
Just when I needed something to watch 😁
2 hour 30 minute press conference ??? Respect to Presti for doing that
I love this man
Every year Presti just sounds like he could easily be looking towards being a commissioner, he just has immense interest in the league itself and its future
Had a heck of a year. Might be one of the biggest turnarounds in NBA history. Not going to lie I was a Sam Presti lover at first, then I felt he needed to be relieved of his duties. Seemed like he couldn't do anything right for the longest. But I have to recognize the fact that OKC was one of the most consistent teams this and that they put on a good show. Hopefully Mr. Presti can continue to get it right year after year. !!!!
10% info and 100% confidence is a great quote.
Hell yeah Presti talking.
Sam has such a way with words
😊❤even in 2k as a GM it's hard to grow your franchise team as a whole let alone as organization I believe I love the things Mr.Presti talked about in real life we all try to grow and overcome this and pray the young guys are hungry for success just be patient 🎉go thunder
PRESTI FOR PRES
The wisest people have one thing in common. They don't just answer the questions. They show you how your question should change.
Thank you Sam!
he trusts the process and has a vision... optimism is high for this team! i love this team man and love Presti as our gm
His book is going to be amazing!
This guy is a genius. Look at the way he approaches and talks about the situation with Shai approaching a supermax that could (Deservingly) be 80 mil.... " You always sleep better in a house that you built"
so goated
He will not pay 80 million to anyone 😂
How do we get this guy on Rogan? 😂
Amsing idea
Rogan doesn’t give a shit abt basketball sadly
Where is the gordon hayward clip?

Our biggest weakness rebounding. That’s the reason we lost to Dallas. Sam Presti address these on the draft or free agency. Some players you can model is Naz Reid, Myles Turner & I kinda like Jonathan Isaac too.
Go the Chicago bulls🎉
We just gotta know when to run a 2 big lineup when the th wings we do very good to counter it ain’t working enough
Every team, player(s) has a timeline. Age is a variable after all.
trust the process 1:04:50

Joel never seems to listen to answers. So many times, I’ve heard him ask a question, the person answers and he asks again after the answer already covered the original question.
Who is Joel with?
@@lnorris5142 I THINK the Oklahoman
@@angelahock169 Thank you
1:35:23 who are they talking about here? Who had the disconnected exit interview?
Is Sam saying that this year the OKC thunder had the #4 best offense in the history of the league? Where is he getting all these rankings from? I’m baffled! I had no idea we were THAT good!!
I wonder if Presti knows "Journey of the Hero" from sources such as "Hero with a Thousand Faces" by Joseph Campbell. The Hero does go to stages and struggle as Athletes should. They need mentor, support, etc and of course deep character....Presti talks synonymous to these.
This team is the beat postioned and
Most potential of any major franchise on american history. Period. Tgis man shoykf nr pressident
In Presti We Trust
He mentions the In-Season Tournament and the 65 game rule at 1:15:34

50% of the people think they can do better. The other 50% actually can.
Let go of Hayward, try to get Adams if healthy
Nah Adams doesn’t fit our team he’s not switchable defensively and he can’t stretch the floor and that’s the beauty of Chet he opens up all the drives for SGA and Dub to expand their offense
Okc does not start JDub at the 4 because it's a good idea, they did it for fear of him being disgruntled on the bench. The thunder are going to have to accept reality and add a true power forward.
You want Jdub benched over Giddey ?????
@cruddyjon lol no, I want the thunder to accept that starting 4 guards won't win a championship. Hard decisions need to be made.
@@HowlitzerPaul I agree man, the most obvious elephant in the room is Giddey but from this Presti conference it sounds like Giddey is too young for the Thunder to move away from him yet… only hope is that Giddey got benched in the playoffs, so the seal has already been broken, he should come off of the bench next year too
@@HowlitzerPaul I do not think that it is a hard decision. Giddey is the obvious weak link. They don't have to trade him, but he should not remain a starter next season, unless he makes a big leap in his shooting or in getting to the free throw line during the offseason. They have plenty of cap space and assets to get a good starting 4 this offseason. They could potentially find an upgrade over Dort too, but I think that he played well enough this season to keep his starting job.
Im really worried for the thunder next season
😅okc super thunder we will be back aka robo belle glade fl😊😊😊
Thunder title by 26-27
Obviously it's going to take us getting knocked out over n over because of the rebounding issues for him to address it
Proud of Chet playing all year injury free, even tho he was up against bigs that could out bench press him by 200 lbs. But if he gets injured and JWill gets hurt taking a charge, KWill isn't a true option at the five. We are way too thin at the 5.
#freeAaronWiggins #heaterp
1:09:14 no obvious answer
I wonder if in 3 yrs he's still saying the same stuff I'm worried he's going to waste the opening because it's open now and idk if he even realizes it im hearing organic and patience a ton which I get to a degree chemistry is real and something this teams got in spades but at some point that window will close as a lifelong Thunder ⛈️ fan well since the move in 08 I've seen him make some bad bad decisions like choosing Ibaka over Harden I was salty about that for years and thought it should of cost his job but glad it didn't now
If you don’t like his decisions go follow another team
Your worry is not from a place of logic or history. Calm down, enjoy the team, its culture and the pristine management and root hard. You can put together an elite team but absolutely need luck to win a chip. If we get one that’s amazing but in the meantime just enjoy watching your team. We’re lucky to have this in front of us.
i really hope we don't run it back with the same exact roster, that's what happened in 2012 and we all know what happened.
keep giddey but run him with the bench unit and go out and trade picks for deni avidija because ur not gonna use all of them.
They made it to the finals?
trading for deni would be redundant
@@reeeaaaalllnot at all, he’s a great defender, rebounder, playmaker and 3point shooter as a wing he’s the perfect fit
The 2012 team going forward had a mediocre bench & an average coach. 🤷🏼♂️
Deni is definitely not the move lol
Presti definitely needs to look at Zach Edey possibility of drafting him to the Thunder this year. The man can be this era Shaq or Yao. This could be like the 2013 NBA draft where you can find a guy like Giannis in the mid draft positions. Shaq even waited in the tunnel at one of the game he'd played to give him some props.
So... you didn't listen to a single word in the entire two and a half hour video???
Presti had reiterated time and time again that Chet is our center. The ADVANTAGES created by Chet being such a mismatch FAR outweigh the DISADVANTAGES of losing some rebound battles.
Presti has repeatedly stated that playing small is a vital piece of the entire overarching gameplan. I'd say Presti's plan worked pretty well, as OKC woke more games than literally every team in the Western Conference.
Respectfully, I think OKC should stick with Presti's plan.... rather than listening to your ideas of what Presti "definitely needs" to do about a slow giant that is the complete opposite of what has made the Thunder great. 😅😅😅😅
He better not screw this up again the window is open if he doesn't make the moves to put it in the position to actually win a title let the guys grow but bring in what we all know we actually need to get it done seriously we are a Big and a shooter away from actually being able to win it all
I feel like we still need to move off of Giddey and pick up a guy like Trey Murphy via trade and then go for a stretch to come off the bench next to Jay will
If you don’t like his decisions go follow another team
@@razzo086 I'm from OKC slick not a bandwagon like yourself
@@anthonyorman596 yeah I’m sure you watch every single game…
Hmmm, first time in a long time that Presti has given a more serious, frustrated vibe. He looks like someone pissed at the outcome of the year. He's usually more upbeat and jovial. Interesting to see this version. He's like a dad in a public event seeing his child misbehave and that "wait 'till we get home" look shows up on his face. It's a different Presti look. Maybe a different Presti off-season coming?
sam looking breedable
ayo??
I don't know if he's learned yet that the regular season of postseason are two different things what works in the regular season don't always work in the postseason and you have to be able to adapt
Worst in offensive rebounding though slick
Thats because we were the best shooting team.
The real question I was waiting for, was, "Now that we've eaten our breakfast... what's on the menu for next year." Because if he said I'll trade Giddey and up to 14 firsts/seconds for BOTH a guard/wing like Mitchell, Butler, CURRY, Booker, or Ja, AND a big guy like Davis, GIANNIS, JJJ, Lauri, or Bam, I'd be sooooo happy. We gots da cap. We gots da picks to trade. We gots da coach. LFG - please.
this is a joke comment right?
Taking it slow, not selling all our picks immediately
Someone's been playing 2k
Love how he left off Giddey when he mentioned guys with potential on this team lmaoo
I think Presti needs help, so the vice president, or whatever is there, go work because Sam is not able to build a durable winning team on his own
I think phil7624 needs help. So his boyfriend or whatever is there, go work because phil7624 is not able to form a logical and accurate statement on his own.
1st seed and 2nd rd exit…..
Both far exceeding EVERYONE’s expectations.
Both far exceeding true but nobody cares it’s about championships not being #1 in the west
He's completely lost when it comes to building teams.
😂😂😂😂🤡🤡🤡🤡
You should go follow another team then
@@razzo086It's true. He's great at drafting. He's just not as sharp when it comes to constructing a team that can win a championship. He's always adding random pieces instead of identifying and addressing our actual needs. He's just too booksmart and we need him to be streetsmart. That's the difference in Presti and a guy like Pat Riley. We need him to snap out of it and get it done this summer.
