Link’s disappearance to the void dimension after freeing his princess had a cool parallel to Zelda’s fall before sent back in time in Tears of the Kingdom.
While some people claims the symbols on Link's hood is from the Twili, I believes both the hood and the bow Link had used to free Zelda is more like a Zonai design.
Isn’t Zonai design usually green tho?
One thing I keep noticing when watching the background of this trailer is that they modeled Hyrule after Link to the Past and Link Between Worlds. This is probably obvious, but I think its cool that they reimagined it
Its more LTTP than LBW. In LBW they made the mountain volcanic, here they made it snowcapped and added a new volcanic mountain to the west.
LTTP's Light World mountain wasn't snowcapped but it wasn't volcanic either, just surrounded by clouds. This version keeps that cloud surrounded aspect and also adds snow. In the zoom out view we can even still see spectacle rock, though I couldn't tell if the Tower of Hera is up there.
Since Zelda wields the Tri Rod for creative puzzle solving and spawning monsters to attack your enemies, I hope Nintendo hasn’t forgotten her divine power, her intellect (as a scholar) and her signature weapon- her Bow of Light.
Yeah I fully expect her to unlock the Bow later. Because it would be a magic bow they could be really creative with how it works and maybe let us curve the shots.
Only thing is, the bow might be late because light arrows are usually OP.
This is definitely a game i’ll have to pre-order. I’m hyped for the game and the Switch Lite as well!
How much do you wanna bet that Ganondorf will have something similar in the future
We had breath of the wild and odyssey, princess peach show time and echoes of wisdom, and in the future, we will have a bowser and Ganon game

I'm glad there's a new Zelda game on the way, and I'm excited to see this artstyle again.
Things I'm calling:
-Link can be used as an echo. (100%)
-Some sort of lore bomb will be in the game, making it more than a "placeholder"
-Technically open world
-Tons of references, especially in side quests
-3 dungeons before major pop off leading to the 8 dungeons before endgame
Also...PLEASE give us a Ganondorf game at some point. If they're really feeling edgy...Bring back the Teen rating lol

I'm excited for this game too! But like you, I was also hoping for Twilight Princess for Switch. I hope they're just putting the finishing touches on that! I'm even more excited for you & Zeltik to continue with your massive ALL ZELDA TIMELINE GAMES project. Ppl didn't like the toon vibe of ww- so they made a dark game TP. SS was too linear, so we got open world BOTW. Yanno?
It’s awesome too because we’ve been talking ever since the release of Tears of the Kingdom will Nintendo return back to the original Zelda or stick with the open air version and not only are they going back which is awesome it looks like they’re putting an awesome twist by playing as Zelda and having a brand new puzzle solving and combat system.

well another thing of note that I'm note, that I'm sure that might've been brought up by other fans but will you continue your TOTK 100% playthrough as it has been some time since the last episode in the Gerudo Desert
Maybe Ganon's game could be called "Illusion of Power" or "Corruption of Power" hwere he either corrupts a space with characters in it to create alternate versions of the space and characters into enemies or passes thorugh a dimensional portal like Silent Hill where there's decay and darker versions of spaces + changing characters into enemies.
I'm hoping for more than one game with Zelda as the main character, though I doubt Nintendo is not going to make a future without Link as the playable character
Having a game with Zelda switching back and forth to her regular appearance and either Shiek /Tetra will be a dope idea

Don’t be boring
They should make a top down Zelda game where you could choose to play as Zelda or Link, the story will differ depending on which character your playing and the other character you don’t choose to play would serve an important and significant role in the story similar to Pokemon games like Emerald or Platinum. They should do that next to continue breaking conventions with top down Zelda.

Do you think link will be playable in certain spots similar to Mario and Luigi Bowesers inside story ?
I really doubt it…if you play as link at all it’s during the beginning against Ganon (if it isn’t a cutscene) other than that no I imagine you won’t play link anywhere else in the game

100%. Link is clearly playable in the opening battle against Ganon.
Beyond that I doubt he'll be playable. I suspect we'll get a Link echo late game and we'll probably fight a Shadow Link as a boss.
Somewhat related as this game uses the Link's Awakening remake artstyle: Did you know there was a playable demo of Link's Awakening at the Comsumer Electronics Show in January of 1993?
The only footage I know of has been put on the games Prerelease page on The Cutting Room Floor recently.
I've been trying to find more footage, but I've had zero luck.

Zelda master there’s a very slim chance you will get this but, I have been a fan of you since 2015 let me explain. I was stuck on the legend of Zelda majoras mask 3d, and I really didn’t know what to do so I went on UA-cam and searched, Zelda majoras mask 3d and after that, there was your video, just to clarify I was 6 that time and your videos were so helpful I managed to complete the game In a short few days, and after that I got more Zelda games, so I watched more of your videos, and to be honest every Zelda game I played I always needed a bit of help and thanks to you, every Zelda game I own was completed thanks to you. Zelda games that share an art style usually share a continuity so it’s possible this is a sequel to LA same way MM was to OOT and Totk was to botw

Hey Zeldamaster: When Echoes of Wisdom comes Are you planning on doing a full 100% let’s play on it.
Just like we speculate if the next Zelda game will be a 2D or 3D game, I’d expect this is now changed and it will now be “is this a Link or Zelda game?” as well as “is it 2D or 3D?” Nintendo giving us lots of options for the Zelda series. A 3D Zelda-style, Zelda game will be interesting.
I am SUPER HYPED for this game. It looks so cool. Like we see old Hyrule. And Zelda's magic, exploring and literally summoning almost anything lol I'm soooo happy!!!

The first time I saw the direct with the Echos of Wisdom trailer, and the fact you get to play as the titular character, I said to myself, ‘This is it, this is it!’ Finally, you get to play as Zelda, something which we all wanted; and Aonuma San did it! But, I also have an idea for a crossover title where Zelda and Fire Emblem characters get into their own worlds, by that I mean FE characters in Hyrule and Hyrule characters in FE. And you control them differently. For the first time in Fire Emblem, you get to freely control your units by moving them around, and there will not be any menus to go through, everything is just going to be new and changed so greatly, Toru Narahiro, director of this alongside Aonuma; will have to agre with me on this. Think about it, Chrom in Hyrule, and Ganondorf against Garon. And then, both Garon and Ganon turn into their true forms, Garon as his true form from FE Fates: conquest, and Ganon as his bore form, merging to form the best antagonist ever! ,

Do you think you will return to your TOTK walkthrough?
My biggest worry is the open ended way to solve puzzles extremely backfired in TotK where the puzzles became samey and unfun cause there were options that trivialized anything thrown at you. Not to mention with how divided the community is on BotW style Zelda going down the same route with 2D is worrying
The closest we got outside of the spinoff games and the cd-i game was Spirit Tracks

Great video ZM! I’m very excited about this game! I love that the fact that Nintendo are letting the Princesses shine for once! I love playing as Mario and Link in many of their games, but I’ve enjoyed Princess Peach Showtime so far and I’m very excited to play as Zelda in Echoes of Wisdom!!! 😊

I'm planning on getting echoes of wisdom true it's in the same animation as links awakening but it doesn't matter to me one bit its the third zelda game you can play as zelda first one was spirit tracks second was hyrule warriors. However it's also the first zelda game ever that princess zelda is going solo with out switching characters like in spirit tracks and hyrule warriors. I'm planning on getting the game and the Nintendo switch light with the triforce on it I think it be cool to add to my zelda collection. Even though we didn't get the release date for wind waker HD and twilight princess HD for the switch yet we got the Nintendo direct in September so I still have high hopes for these games to come out in stores this year.

There is another spin off that ZeldaMaster what i notice. Hyrule warriors. Most of the Hyrule warriors spin off that you can play as Zelda but...was a spin off. So i am wanting to know where this 2D Zelda would go! As much i did miss the 2D Zelda style. I am willing to try this.
