Absolutely Ultan. It’s all part holidaying in the US. We make a point in going every time no matter where we’re staying. What’s your thought on these Sugar Cookies? I’m not convinced. I feel like every bite gave me another cavity 😂
Cheers Andy. I think Jem was more excited about Walmart than Universal 😂. I’ve been in Target a few times during work trips to the US and think it’s really good. Similar ranges of products but slightly more expensive than Walmart overall I’d say.
Love watching foreigners shop at our grocery stores and places like Walmart, Target, etc. We take it all for granted here, while it is a wonderland/attraction for others. Surprised how quiet Walmart was. Many used to be open 24/7, and you’d not only get the oddest people in the middle of the night, but the stores would also be very busy at that time. Not a fan of the sugar cookies either. Prime was never a thing here like it was in the UK; never the shortage or inflated prices People like to make fun of the sizes of food products here in the US when shopping at Walmart, but they forget we have bigger refrigerators, kitchens, storage space, etc, so buy in bulk, therefore no need to grocery shop frequently. Looking forward to your series. BTW, the liquor rule varies from state to state, and even which part of the state you live in, as some counties are “dry” - no alcohol sales.
I bet it seems odd with all us from the UK making an “excursion” to Walmart! We love it! Prices have definitely gone up but they have at home too! We always find the staff at the checkout super friendly and helpful. What is your go-to grocery store? Does Walmart dominate or are there others we can try next time we’re over?
@@thekennafamilyadventures5 Walmart is strange as to where it puts a store. I’ve been to towns of 3000 with a huge Walmart, but I live in a large city of over 50,000, where the nearest location is about 25 miles away. Most of our chains - dept stores, gas stations, fast food, grocery stores, etc - are regional, so my grocery store chain isn’t in Florida. One grocery store with a cult following across America is Trader Joe’s. I believe the Orlando locations are a distance from where the tourist area is, so might not be worth making a special trip for.
I’ve heard of Trader Joes, I feel I might have seen one on a recent work trip to West Virginia. I also see people mention it on another group I’m in. Might check it out next time. Thanks for the info.
Thank you so much for your lovely comment and for subscribing Katie. We have so much fun making the videos and are glad that others enjoy watching them! Are you going to Orlando soon?
Thank you so so much for watching and subscribing. What a lovely comment! We really hole you enjoy watching the videos as much as we enjoyed making them. Amazing family memories and hopefully others will get something from them too x
We were doing our grocery shopping at that Walmart, when the news of the queen's passing hit Google, not what you really expect to hear when your picking up pizza, ice tea etc 😮
@@thekennafamilyadventures5 yeah always good to visit various ones, as lots to see and buy, and middle of night you get to see some very unique people of Walmart 😀
I hear you Jamie. Clever marketing and controlling how many they release at one time creates the demand. Kids were paying £15 per bottle at one stage- madness! I don’t mind paying $1.88 per bottle 😂
Here in Brazil there are so many taxes that Walmart left Brazil and so did Ice Gurte. And here the STF (Supreme Federal Court) approved the prior censorship and companies like Rumble left Brazil.
Can't beat a Walmart trip !
