I don't know if it's my Headphones or it's in my head but the only thing I think this video really needs is, *ever so slightly lowered background music.* The Track used here specifically is pretty intense which is cool but since there's a lot of variance between the loud and not-so-loud bits, it can become just a little too loud and I almost struggle to hear some of your words through it at times or at the very least it's kind of distracting me from your words. Amazing Video though bro. You're currently LIVE with Darkened Cyrus right now but I had to come check this out haha. This is ACTUALLY going to come in handy because I did plan to go with the Sony Camera used here one day. Well, this one or one of the XT ones from Fujifilm for sure. I also need to figure out if the Cam Link 4K is what I need to go with. Is that really the only way you can hook up a 4K DSLR camera to a PC? It looks so amazing.
Thank you for checking out the video, I appreciate it! I agree, on the music it is a little intense and if I had to do it over I would not add the music. I think I was using the music more as a security blanket to hide or distract from any imperfections. As for a capture card you can really use any 4k capture card. It doesn't have to be Elgato, it just needs to have an output of 4k. If you do go with the Cam Link 4k see if you can find it used, I believe you can find one at half the cost now.
@@SlapshotTech Ah nah, it was great! Would've been great even without the music. Also that's good to hear, I'll have to look into my options for sure. I rarely buy anything NEW nowadays haha. I just got a normally $140 Microphone Brand new for $113 instead cause it was OPEN BOX :)
@SlapshotTech 2:18 thanks for the test in no light situation (a part from the light coming from the monitor) and it's actually possible with an oled screen playing star citizen and using it's FOIP and head tracking, would you mind please telling me if the Facecam MK.2 sustain the high fps (60 fps and 120 fps at 720P) under the same no light setting you used ? just in case you can see the number of fps with the AMCap software (will be displayed at the bottom of the software-webcam window)
If you are looking for camera that is going to AI track you around an area, I would get the OBSBOT Tiny 2. If you are just looking for something with auto focus, the Elgato Facecam Pro and the new Elgato Facecam Neo both have auto focus. Any of these 3 are going to be your best options if you are going to be moving around quite a bit.
