In Tamil, we have 12 Saiva Thirumurais graced by Nayanmar saints. And also Siddha literature of 18 Shaiva Siddhas.
The 10th Thirumurai is Tirumanthiram, which is said to be the essence of 28 Saiva Agamas and Yogasuthra of Patanjali Muni. Authored by Mahamunivar Thirumoolar - one of the 8 disciples of Nandikeswara Sage (not Nandi Bull), who is one of the 18 major Sivaganas. Thus direct lineage from the Lord himself. The 8 disciples of Nandikeswarar as per Tirumantiram --> 4 Sanathkumarars, Vyaghrapadar, Sivayogamahamuni, Patanjali, Thirumoolar.

So true. Btw, Durga Saptashati/ Devi Mahatyam itself is a complete tantrik text. If one understands and renders it properly according to their guruparampara they can easily get enlightened and also do the shatakarmas (Maran, Mohan, Stamban, Vashikaran, Ucchatan and Vidveshan) if needed by just reciting the right verses accordingly through the knowledge given by their Guru 🙏

Yes realisation is enough. But people are not realised so they use rituals as a means to aid their spiritual pursuit as well as material success. Once realised no rituals are needed. The highest level of tantrik sadhak does not perform rituals. They are called Kaulikottam.
