Hi Kim and family and Julie ❤. I have been in the hospital for a week. Now I am in rehab for physical therapy. They said I might be here from 1-3-weeks. Please pray for me and my cat's. Thank God a person that works here went this morning and fed and watered my cat's. They were so hungry and thirsty. I request extra water, no sugar, extra ice in my ice tea. If I want a little sweet, I request 1 pump or 2 pumps of their simple syrup. My daughter orders a variety of yummy drinks, iced matcha teas and iced mochas with with all kinds of different ingredients etc. in them. RE: low-fat milks, sugar free, decaf. Etc. They always know what we want. Lol 😂 And 2 hot buttered croissants. Yummy! ❤😊

If you would like a soft, pillowey recipe that comes out better than cinnabon (😜) this is my go to: 4 cups flour 4 tbsp sugar 2 tsp yeast 1 tsp salt -Mix together Add 4 tbsp oil 1 egg Enough warm milk to make a nice soft pliable dough. (unfortunately it's hard to give a liquid measurement as different flours, climates etc require different amounts of liquid) Knead dough till nice and elastic. Keep in a warm place to rise till double in size. When doubled in size knock it down and shape. Once rolls are shaped and filled leave to rise again till double in size. Bake and enjoy.!

Yummm. Good job Belle. Cinnamon rolls and Chili are a Midwestern combination. I grew up and worked in Iowa, at a school kitchen. We had homemade chili and Cinnamon rolls twice a month. The kids loved it! We also had big Cinnamon rolls served at the Iowa State Fair and many local restaurants. The Iowa Machine Shed Restaurant is known for their Carmel and Cinnamon rolls.

I’ve been keeping up with my sourdough “bob” since July last year thanks to Farmhouse on the Boone, but…. But I have made the cinnamon rolls twice now. The first time I was so so proud of myself and was learning and then the second time it was different but I agree mine both times were never that elastic as you called it haha. Mine seemed more mushy and hard to roll and then cut 😳🤣🤣 but I have been wanting to make some pumpkin sourdough ones, just haven’t had the time cause I work overnights and then struggle has been real this past month haha. But maybe I will get to it before thanksgiving that would be nice :)
