How do I remove the shock retaining pins from my MBX8TR ECO truggy. With the shocks on (shocks mounted on truggy already) I try to pull the pin out with my fingers and even tried a butter knife and still can't remove the pin

@@raydonovan7988 there is a set screw on the bottom side of the arms that hold the pins in… remove those and they’ll slide right out.

@@noprorc9365 Many thanks. I will also put the shock boots over the shock ends like you because my custom Mugen came without boots

Wait so why wouldn’t you just unscrew the shock bottom so you can just slide off the boot without cutting it?

Juan, I only cut it if the boot is bad and needs replaced, if it’s still good and I just want to feel , bleed ect, then I just roll it down like in the video.

@@noprorc9365 Ah ok I thought so, I just can’t bring myself to stretch it over the shock bottom in fear of it ripping. I unscrew it every time haha

Yup all good , either way works well , I just always felt I was wearing out the threads in the eyelet and then also having to remeasure the stroke , I started doing it this way. Luckily I haven’t ripped a boot yet… although I shouldn’t of said that, I probably will now LOL.
      Thanks for watching!!!
