I am so happy to dive back in the book world! I felt like I never left but now my TBR is overflowing. Thank you so much for your overview. You are so enthusiastic! It’s refreshing! I have never owned a kindle and trying to decide if I should get one. Many times I’m unsure of what authors to read and it becomes overwhelming trying to decide. I’m trying to find a review from someone comparing the reading experience while laying down. The kindle basic is lighter. I don’t enjoy reading kindle books on my iPhone 15 pro max. It’s too heavy to hold after awhile. The kindle paperwhite is only a little bit lighter than the iPhone 15 pro max. Other reviewers mention that the text looks crisper on the kindle basic. It’s a tough decision which one to get.
😳 so glad you can view borrowed library ebooks on the kindle, love this because i've been borrowing library books from my local library and reading on my phone! What’s crazy is I wasn’t a reader AT ALL (my sister and mom have tried to bring me into their addiction with reading forever and I never caved), then you kept mentioning Fourth Wing in your vlogs, and on the tik tok lives so I decided to give it a chance…when I tell you my life has now changed for the better omg I MEAN IT. Every time I go to Target I can’t leave without going to the book section! I've been watching your channel since the beginning and it's been so exciting to see the different phases it's gone through! I used to nearly live in the library and read so much as a kid, so I've been dying to get back into my reading era for years now, but being back in school made it really challenging to make time for it. Thankfully Booktube and your videos inspired me this past year to get back into it! Right now I'm reading some of the classics that I didn't really appreciate when I was in high school, so I just finished Fahrenheit 451, but planning to get back into fiction and take some of your recommendations when the new year starts (working on my 2024 reading list right now)! Hey Kyrah! I am getting back into reading, it’s been years! I have 11 books on my physical TBR and I hope read all of them before I start school again in Spring! This is perfect timing because I want a kindle!
Kindle Unlimited has been a lifesaver for reading a lot more - I use it on my phone and it's so nice to carry around just that instead of lugging around paper books haha (but I do still love the feel of a good paper book, can't deny that)! I've found a lot of people say the selection is limited but I've got a huge backlog of books to read since I don't have extremely high standards and enjoy reading just about anything. Also, the fact that the Paperwhite has dark mode is amazing! If I could somehow make my paper books go dark mode that'd be amazing it always feels easier on the eyes than light mode.
Also, somewhat unrelated to the Kindle but on your note about owning ebooks and wanting to have the physical book - I deal with the same thing with library books!! Super interesting, glad this video popped up on my recommendations so I can subscribe :)

My kindle has changed my life 😂 I had read one book between Jan and October of this year. Since the beginning of November I have read 20 already. Thank you for sharing your review of the kindle! :) I have had a "kindle craving" the last few months. I've watched a myriad of kindle review videos to learn if it's a needed purchase. I'm an avid book reader; and although I prefer a good ole paper book experience; digital devices are just more convenient for me to consume books through. But I have astigmatism, and the blue light from most electronics affects my eyes. Which is the main reason why I think the kindle would be a great purchase for me, because as you mentioned, the light that the Kindle displays is more eye-friendly. I am suppperrr sold on the Kindle! I just got back into reading and when I saw that you rebranded your channel I was extremely happy because you created a community of people who are passionate about books and reading and I want to fully emerge myself. A kindle would be very helpful because I already have a huge book collection with little space to store my books. As a colleges students investing in a kindle right now isn’t the best move so I hope I get to be the lucky winner
