I had the privilege of working with Paul on a tour stop in 2001. An absolute class act. He spent a large amount of his pre show time tweaking every last bit of sonic quality out of the sound system, because he cared that much about the audience experience. I can attest to his humbleness and appreciation for life. Very grateful to have met him.
I remember grabbing the EP as a thirteen year old kid in private Christian School. This band captures what it was like to be a teenager in the early 2000's. Amazing band.
My roommate In college he played on his drum set for fun and he was obsessed with this band. This was like 2008. I just spent like 30 min trying to think of the band he always played and was obsessed with… it was mute math! I was sitting here googling “math rock” and got nothing then the name just came to me. He was a drummer and rock climber cool guy didn’t do drugs always wore moccasins.
Hey Paul, was the audio much post-produced after the show??? Man, everything sounds awesome, but the voice is just perfect, feels like walking on a warm velvet carpet...so damn smooth! The first verse is unbelievable. That rev+delay is heavenly well mixed and balanced and fits perfectly with the other instruments in the song...wonder if you worked on the mix adding stuff after the show and what's in the voice channel strip...
Lol!! Paul with the wig for this sequence, you can tell he is reliving the beginning at the end and loving it! Proud of all they did, where they came from. I just came back here after emailing in to hopefully be able to get a copy of their Teleprompt vinyl. Love you guys and your legacy!
I would’ve died hearing this song live in person 😭😭 This one & their song ‘Control’! Was that really their last tour ever?! I saw them in 2016 once but still 😔
Without Darren King and Roy Cardenas, MM is no longer the slick, pop-commercial sound. There is no legendary live sound that delighted and gave emotions. Very sorry...
Roy and Darren parted from the band right before this tour to spend time in life with their families and do other things. It was a blessing that these members Hutch and Jonathan (drummer/bassist) who originally played with Paul before/at the beginning of MuteMath came back to close their final tour. I think it’s actually quite magical.

Is Paul not the most gracious person to ever grace a stage and by proxy, our homes, heads and hearts?
Looks like the took a Macrosick approach to the live set
Insane that they thought this band could exist without Darren King
I miss Darren too, but I rather MM live on in some capacity, my heart was broken when they split but this gives me some hope!
Here because of Avial 😄

I liked the original members better.
