Actually, you should use a drift differential and drift suspension with drag tires. Sounds weird. But it allows you to slide without completely spinning out
Also some awd vehicles with all drift parts including tires. Actually drift pretty decently
I use drag tires in any race and I can agree it slides good
yea, this is the build I use with my rx7, and it’s really good
MAZDA RX-7 Spirit R '02 Drift Setup
* Engine: 562 hp 3.8l V8
* Engine Parts: Elite+ (can use Ultimate parts on Cooling and Dual Turbo)
* Suspension: Speedcross
* Brakes: Elite (but can go with Super or Pro)
* Tires: Elite Drag
* Clutch: Elite+
* Gearbox: Super 5 Speed
* Differential: Pro Drift
* Auxiliary: your own choice
I've been using this setup for quite a while. Really felt the car much better without the upgrade with all ultimate parts

Why elite and not ultamite?
Personal opinion:
Its waaaaay easier to control
And it drifts a lot more
I tried with Ultimate
Wasn't scoring as high as with the Elite setup

What's your build for it? Viper is my favorite car but building it like I'd like has been a letdown so maybe drift is the way to go with it
@nannerclip3826 Idk I went all drift and learned how to not hit everything on the road lol. Takes lots of practice but it pays off sooner or later

S15 and Miata are my best drift cars

Silvia with GT-R engine is so fun to drift
Rx 7 with few tweaks from adjustment of steering and power is the only car perfect for drift
It's also the best Drift car in Payback.

I enjoyed drifting with the Ford Focus the most in Heat. It just felt so snappy, nimble but sustainable.
In Unbound though, I suck at drifting with high revving cars for some reason, and the 'Cuda is now my main drift car. High torque heavy cars with a single turbo are what work for me in that game.
I got 200k plus points on the Drift track near the Garage with a Chevy Corrvette C6 ZR-1 with a drift set up drag tyres and drift suspension and the other drift part car still could do 370 kmh

@@OfficialGOBBLEZit’s actually the evo it has a faster 0-60mph as well so even if they are the same the evo has a faster off the line then any car in game giving it the advantage over the RSR

I love the '99 skyline myself. It has the perfect length and weight for sliding around curves. The stance needs to be set all to medium.
Mazda rx7 : offroad+drift suspension, regular tires and the third thing for drift+road. Rest max out with top speed turbo and multiple nos, quick tuning first optiom to the right second to left and turn the stability off. This car setup wins each race, drift event, time attack and cop chase, is able to go offroad and not die instantly (if you drift off the road), with some time spend on learning the controll no turn will be a challenge and no chase will be struggle.
Havent unlocked each red+ part yet but so far im able to win against 400+ players especialy on roads with plenty of turns as i just slide like a hot knife in butter
c6 corvette with drag tires and rally/rallycross (i forget) suspension is literally amazing for drifting, it feels like how it actually should lol

Evo for me.... shit was fun I used to drift it at night and get away from lvl5 heat.
The camero ss tho that felt the best when you blasting the music and sound through headphones it's just satisfying to hear it roar down the road as you drift round corners
I think the E46 M3 or S15 Silvia would be phenomenal at drifting.
I use the S15 Silvia… been my drifter since I bought my first car to setup for drifting. RX7 is for racing, then I have a few others just there to make garage look nice
Drag tires worked wonders for some reason
The most fun vehicle to use for drifitng is the Chevrolet pick up truck. Its handling is tight and feels like a real drift car and drifts like you would in real life by contantly having to use the handbrake.
In nfs heat, every car needs the ability to frift its an essential to be successful in this game.
For me it’s the corvette ZO6, it handles so well and it’s so forgiving when u make a mistake

I don’t know why but the barracuda is really fun to drift in heat compared to some of the other cars
For me it was the dodge challenger the old one and I had everything on drift and it couldn’t even drive normal without drifting and I got tones of points

Still my favourite drift car in NFS Heat is the '65 Mustang with an engine swap and speed cross parts. I've been scoring 500,000+ on different dirft areas with it

Btw rx7, and any other drift car in this game drifts best with drag tires I really don’t know why.
Because with showcase tires you tend to oversteer a lot, drag tires eliminate that oversteer
For people who don't have a num pad there are 2 ways to access live tuning, to do it easier use your 3/4+ additional keys extra apart from the normal ones and set up each additional key for, num 8(up), 2(down), 4(close), 6(open)
The other method is a bit more complicated so I might have to make a video or a bigger transcript

i dont know why, but my favorite car for drifting is chevy c10. so smooth at the corner and no need to tune a lot

The old Mazda Miata, with the 4 cylinder, supercharged, with the 4 speed.
Used maximum level racing tires.
Not the track ones. And the 15 second single shot nitrous
It can drift, drag, and handle any way you want it to.
Perfect mix of raw speed and handling.
Yes, things can beat it, but you'll find out it's only few that can. And it's usually cars that are purposely built for specific styles.
The Miata with the set up I mentioned is a prime contender in all styles

In general the RX-7 is the easiest car to gain points in, but other cars like the 350Z are easier to control while almost earning just as many points.

i cleared all of the drift zones with my ford mustang foxbody with the initial D drip 😎 harder to do but +10 style points (still a pretty good car)
Me who just basically started the game again bc I had a lot of cars and was like level 39 but when i didn’t have ps plus I couldn’t play so I just deleated it hoping it will save itself but when I got ps plus it wasn’t saved I had to restart aswell and since I have that car rn I thank u

even though rx7 is super easy to handle with this build already, I've found it easier to handle the throttle with 2.9l V6, w/o loosing much torque
