Man, in the old days we ran baja buggies, and CB on 108 inch whips with the flags flying on the antennas..lol..but last time I saw that area was in 80s..looks great though..
Glad you're having a great time just sand dunes ain't my thing been whelling in Florida my whole life you pretty much have everything here , and it's not always with the foot buried in the throttle hope you had a great time Steve.
Great video! It was nice meeting you all out there. I saw that Jeep and I had to come see who was driving that thing out there. You gotta love a Jeep! This was our first big trip in our 4 seat XP PRO and we are liking it more each time we use it.
An experienced leader makes all the difference in the world out in glamis. I’m finally getting good enough to lead actual real dune rides now, came along way from an east coast guy in a Suzuki samurai doing exactly what you guys were doing in the jeep a couple videos back to someone who can confidently lead a group to every destination through the biggest dunes in a sxs. Hope y’all can make it back some day, hopefully with Sean in a utv instead of a wrangler, lol.
I don't know what tire he is running or what psi he had it at but it might have helped airing down a little to try to stay on top of the sand and, aggressive tire do very bad in the desert cause they dig in to much
Could tell by the video, did pretty good for stock. Want to try to give some advice I learned from watching mattsoffroad recovery he does a lot of sand recovery up in Utah he touched on the tire subject on one video and on what he runs and what work better but in the long run it just depends on if yoy had fun no Ned to build a jeep for every terrain you plan on going to
