- Everyone loves a bit of army building, no matter what kind, LEGO Star Wars Clones, Droids, Castle Black Falcon's and even 4+ Jack Stone figures. As the self proclaimed number one army builder, I thought it would be fun to have a look at your collections and judge them based upon my beginners army criteria!

when you forget to add pics of the other nindroid vehicles. also for anyone wondering the nindroid are separated by class for example. mindroids on the left , generals in the middle and warriors on the left . followed by drones (with and without jetpacks ) all around the baseplate. great video holly! keep up the great work

I wish that was a palace cinema baseplate but unfortunately my baseplates aren't real LEGO. Everything else is but it would just be too expensive to get Lego base plates for all my displays and my LEGO city when they just get covered up.

What all should I keep in mind while choosing an army building set?
Commented on the really big castle set vs. Creator. Well I found the on clearance at 80, already had two, and 4 is more pieces than the one biggie.

My army has 20 501st, 4 212th, some commanders and over 100 phase 1 troopers.
I love the kazoo star Wars theme
My army is 15 up front and 4 deep of 401's, Mandalotians, Sith, Snow Troopers, clones, etc., each in their own formation. To create depth, each row is lined up one stud to the right from the front row instead of lining each row behind each other. Try it, it has a better visual display effect.

I have only one problem with people showing off droid armies...
You can put B1s right next to each other instead of leaving one stud gap, saving more space on a baseplate.
That way you not only save money for more figs by having to use less base plate, but also can get really amazing angles at times.

Perhaps you could call your army the 501st LEGION? I believe the 501st cosplay group has some banner/battle flags. And if you look around on the internet there might be some images of the Imperial battle flags and even the First Order has some banner flags that they display.
