My husband and his brother both have two middle names, and I turned my maiden name into a middle name when we got married. I have SO MANY letters in my full name (Hope Elizabeth Swanson Smith). It’s a little difficult when it comes to official forms and giving middle initials, but in general, I like it. Plus, it gives us more names that we can consider giving as middle names to our future children.

I LOVE Gretta so much! A lot of people do 2 middle names, for example a cousin of mine is pregnant with a boy is naming him with 2 middle names. And another aunt of mine gave her two boys two middle names and that was almost 30 years ago lol. I say do it if you feel like it! Either way :)

In my family it's popular to use the first name of the parent for a middle name. So my middle name is Mistie because that is my mom's first name. My brothers is Thomas because that's his dad's first name and so on
Henry has two middle names! It was a hard choice just because we weren't sure about doing two. My great grandpa went by J.D. and he was one of my favorite people in the whole wide world so I wanted to use his name. His parents literally named him J.D. (Hello south) but in Kindergarten the kids asked him what it stood for and he just made up Jack Doyle. Then his parents changed it legally. Sooooo long story short Henry is "Henry Jack Doyle Durney". I was debating even during the hospital stay but I just decided to go for it. Now I'm glad I did. But it was a hard process/choice!

If my daughter would have been a boy her name would have been Mathis. My mom passed away in 2007 and her maiden name was mathis and I love it! So if I get another chance and have a boy that will be his name in honor of her

I think middle names are silly because they are never used. So while having two middle names will make your name more unique, I think it is slightly pointless.
