The situation at the frontline has escalated. The most difficult fights are occuring near Pokrovske and Kurakhove. This was said on Sunday by Commander-in-Chief of the Armed Forces of Ukraine Oleksandr Syrskyi. “The Ukrainian Armed Forces withdrew from Berdychiv, Semenivka and Novomykhailivka to positions westward to save the lives of our defenders,” the commander said. But the threat of further enemy advancement is not limited to these areas. Russia is increasing the number of troops and regrouping its forces in the Kharkiv region as well, says Syrskyi.
