Your Nigeria is lawless and the constitution has never been followed by all APC governments since 2015 till date.
Abacha was one of the fairest Nigerian leaders so far. They pilloried him but he stuck to fairness and everything he did was fair to the 6 geopolitical zones including the ones at loggerhead with him e.g. creation of states. Today we see so-called elected people converting the Nigerian state into tribal cabals and using the state apparatus to pursue ancient grievances and tribal vendetta. Abacha never did any of that.

Mr. Abati has been like this for years- a hugely tribalized individual draped in deceptive neutral colours. He tends to locate himself in media platforms owned by non-Yorubas to subtly pursue the same agenda as his more uncouth ronu soulmates. Remember when he was in the Guardian -Ng, a newspaper owned by Mr. Ibru, set up for him by Stanley Macebuh an Igbo and edited by Emeka Izeze, another Igbo. Standing on that platform, Abati mocked Igbos about the 1966 pogrom when he claimed that they (the Igbos) had a "dull Christmas" that year. His major articles Gidigbo Gidigbo; Secession and Secessionists etc. were a study in anti-Igbo diatribes. In the later, he threatened that Obasanjo would "cut off a few Ibo heads" in response to Igbo agitation for a fairer Nigerian state at the time. It was when he claimed that Dr Nnamdi Azikiwe was a "footnote" in Nigeria's history that his kinsmen cautioned him. People change, so maybe he has changed but I very much doubt it
