Loved listening to this! Who remembers the Team Green support truck at all the youth national rounds... Full support and repairs foc for any rider on a KX at the event.. They were very good days growing up in the motocross scene.
heres an idea for Jeff ,i think hes one of the few people who could make this happen ,we need a round of super enduro in this country right now ,my ticket money is waiting
Jeff 🤣🤣🤣👍 My kind of ideas man! That hill climb event, it would be a great vlog if all 4 of the lads rode. Billy on the 610, Tommy on his CR or borrow one of the headmasters 500’s as suggested, unsure what Ed & Stan should ride. Doesn’t matter, would be a hoot 😎
Really enjoyed this. Good to hear Jeff’s stories & passion & everyone’s sense of humour! Be good to hear some other older (like myself) GP guys stories. Also interested to hear all your views on the electric bikes in the future. The Gypsy Tales podcast with the Stark Varg guy was interesting especially their view on how it might shake up the landscape, maybe bring events close to cities & their approach to selling the bikes i.e. suspension preset to rider weight 👍🏻 keep it up
The 125 and 250 gps during Jeffs time were stupid fast, the whole pack were fast because they dropped the total race time and they were almost flat out the whole race, it was epic to watch 👏
Lovely to hear the stories guy's and man back in the day racing we always helped out others regardless / and yeah been beaten by guy's youv'e helped out wouldnt have it any other way especially early GEST days not so much right now though !!
Love listening to Jeff talking like this about motocross. It's a shame how motocross has moved from a family fun sport. It's all about money, which is a massive shame.
Jeff is a good egg, mx through and through, his brother shaun wasn't slow, used to have them in Cornwall for the scrambles week 4 races in 7 days, you could earn a few £, whilst having a good holiday, 👍
Bring back the champions of champions top 3 schoolboy riders from each regional championship to race at a major track , maybe the same option for regional championship classes from mx 1 , mx 2 , b, c and vets class
Back in my day and even Tommy's acu had the British finals had to be tio five in your club then you went to regional#. Where you had to go top 13 then you had the final we don't have that any more
No you can't cost way to much just for kids 50s 65cc at £3000 the sport great but it takes the piss how much you need just to get in to racing.....unless mummy and daddy are in the sport or rich as fk then yes but no UK Motocross will allways be behind
one of the best things any youth or young mx2 lad or lady can do is vlogs. honestly do it. Tommy and Co have proved it with doing this. I want our kids to be cock and fast. sell it ,get yourself out there.
Been watching this at home on the tv. My Mrs (who won’t come to my races) thinks there’s strip tents at my events! Cheers guys! 🤣🤣
Tell her you don't get strip tents in amateur racing 😂

You guys just keep getting better and better. Love it. Great to hear the behind the scenes stories and the future plans.
You can tell mxgp is all about money now. Now be lucky to 20 riders on the gate at every round. Loving the stories.

Just came over from Tommy’s vlog….love the consistency of the Monday uploads.cheers Ed. 👏🏻🔥

Jeff - Foxhall Stadium in Ipswich, Chris Louis ran it in 2002. What about the indoor Supercross series they ran at Weston?
I'm thinking of entering the hill climb on my KTM520, It would be nice to be in the same race as the 610

Great podcast! Love a debate on the various championships and the date clashes!
