One of the best Albion Online videos. This is the kind of stuff the game company should be paying you to make.
Some tips to add:
1. Lunging spear has a slight lingering effect, so if youre being chased and you lunging in front of their path, it will still hit even if it doesnt immediately connect.
2. Against melee, Cripple vs most boots and impaler against royal sandals (cant be purged)
3. Against swords, careful of cripple since it no longer removes iron will.
4. Crab omelette is a superior option to regular omelettes since you already have high cdr and spear can burn through mana quickly when using E as a regular mobility spell.
5. Against turret builds you can duke it out til about half hp, if it's a clear victory keep killing. But if youre even or losing, just reset. Most often they cannot chase.
6. Care with martlock cape. Since spears arent the stickiest, it can be a weaker option against kite builds since they can pop it and youd barely get value out of it.
Pretty sure that lingering effect is the ping difference, but still, it sounds interesting.
@@martingoyena5770 the lingering is purposely there to counteract large differences in ping, just like global CDs and other tools

I wish you made more videos like this for the other weapons as well, it was an extremely useful guide, I usually take a lot of time to learn a weapon and its playstyle but your guide made it way easier and saved me a ton of time and deaths

Hey bro, just making a point here regarding the Mistcaller and the omelette. If you use both you don't enjoy 100% of the potential of the omelette because you go through the softcap and part of that attribute is reduced, you reach the maximum but you waste part of the potential, so if you use the Mistcaller I would recommend another food, Roast Pork for example (Lifesteal is super underrated and is very strong for spears). The cooldown present in the torch with the omelet reaches the soft cap and is a cheaper option just like you said.

I have loved using roast pork and a torch for the mists. It melts elites with the faster auto attack and the life regen comes i n clutch in 1vx battles

how about tenacity jacket for corrupted? the low CD seems really nice with high resistance
i tried the fiend cowl, royal jacket, hunter shoes, spear, carleon cape and mistcaller build but i always struggle because of the mana consumption. with this build, i can only engage for a one fight or 1v1 fight. what should i do?
Will the tips applicable to daybreaker and torch?
If you have a build with a lot of reflects against normal bow, for example fire shield, reflect spin, hunter hood the bow has no chance because you have a reflect on pretty much all the time.

How is impaler good when the slow from it is essentially void in PvP? One Q and the impaler slow lasts less than a second and barely slows them

Spear is not good at this moment as mist are dominated by curse , carving dual swords

Only thing problem is energy... I usually low on mana when fighting 1 battle on Mist, and We all know it's not a 1v1 there.. that's why I go for lymhurst cape.

TRUE I lost with 8.1 1500ip to8.3 carving and t8 curse man , the curse was one sided battle literally he just melt me

it's alright but kinda forces you to go forest of spears if u want to get good value
@@BigLipsMcGee Hmm I guess you lose some utility but gain the ability to go toe to toe because of the extra damage and sustain. Guess it's a play style choice.
u always play it in t8 ? is there any tier for beginner ?
Because t8 flat is cheaper than t6
all the clips I use t5 or t6. It is a very strong build even in t4

Also very good option. I made this before it's buffs or else I would have added it
@@BigLipsMcGee nice, my combo is just the 1h spear, hunter hood, assassin jacket (or merc jacket if I want to do PvE for spec’ing or just doing solo dungeons while getting a small bit of fame for spec’ing but making a good bit of silver), and soldier boots 2nd spell for sustain or 3rd spell for catching up with the little friend that runs a ton, also a t6 torch. That’s pretty much the entire build and can be thrown in with Thetford cape for more damage.

This built help me kill most of new player, but against much higher IP it lack of healing power where most use heal, I guess this is why you use potion
