Hi Dave, what a great way to start a wet Sunday morning, with your vlog, a beautiful set of knives, I am a big fan of the stockman pattern, I have the Artisan Wood, a beautiful knife with classic scales, also like yourself one of my favourite knives. I also love the smooth white bone, would be possible to add the serial number of such, so I can do a search for it, thank you. I have another one for you to check out along the same line, if you don’t have it, it is the RR1702, Copper Ridge, Buffalo horn scales with rose titanium blades and copper bolsters, another fantastic knife. Thank you again a great topic for a discussion. Take care Sam
Happy Saturday Dave, that is a nice selection of medium Stockman with some attractive handles you have there. I have not bought any Rough Ryder Stockman but have on order my first Stockman type knife, a Steel Warrior ( Frost Cutlery brand ) Wrangler Stockman. Its advertised as 4 inches long (closed) and weighs approximately 2.5 ounces. The handle is jigged Red Walnut Bone with a Nickel Silver Inlay Shield & the bolsters are Nickel Silver, the knife has a 2 7/8" Clip blade, 2 1/8" Sheepfoot Coping blade and 1 3/4" Pen blade & the blades are Polished 440 Stainless Steel . I should get it in 2 - 4 weeks time . I bought it as I was buying a 3.5" long Abalone handled Muskrat knife with 2 x 2 5/8" clip point blades on special offer & the Stockman was also on special offer & so I bought it as an impulse buy as it was only the Abalone handled Muskrat that I had originally intended to buy!
Nice collection of stockmans

Hi Sam, thank you for the kind words. Yes the white smooth bone is number RR003. I will try to check out the copper ridge too if I can find one 👍

Hi Steve. Sounds like you got yourself a nice selection coming in , congrats! The stockman is a nice handy pattern.
@@steeleuphoria Cheers Dave & thanks for your latest video !
Hello there. Nice selection. Which one of these do you prefer, the ones with half stops and the R-bolster, or the ones without those features? Regards
Hi Ron, well I`m a sucker for a nice half stop so I do prefer the versions that have that.
