I got my zdx last year on a lease and i love it! The perks/incentives are great. Bigggg discounts!! Everyone bash it!! Ohhh, the chime when the door is open. Its the GM chime!! Really??!! Are some of yall that picky??!! Or the platform it share!! Man come on!! And you all thats bashing the zdx probably havent even test drove one or even sat in one. We all have opinions on certain vehicles, but until you have had the personal experience of one, instead of focusing on the videos, or a cell phone vision of one, dont hate!! I get compliments on mine all day. The hearse look, in person, you dont see it because the size and the bulk /muscle look of this vehicle speaks for itself. The only differential in this vehicle is those who want an all ev or gas type vehicle. This is my first ev and I have worked in a facility that produce ev vehicles. Its something new for me and honestly i like the gas up and go lifestyle. But this is a new experience for me and my wife and its something different. We leased so we're not stuck with it just in case we have ill will.. but above it all, the zdx is nice!!!
I have become numb to 99 percent of cars made after 2015. There is zero individuality or soul left in them. Sitting in this cars cabin could be mistaken for sitting in any random Toyota, Mazda, Honda etc. As a person who grew up in the 80s and 90s and cars were all trying new things out to figure out what the market wanted it was so much more exciting to see a new model come out. You never knew what to expect like the return of muscle cars in the late 80s, the invasion of Japanese sports cars in the early 90s, we even had tire meltingly fast trucks like the GMC cyclone something no one saw coming. Everything is so cookie cutter and sanitized now it just makes me sad.
I began leasing an Acura ZDX Type-S on New Year's Day (I'm ❤️ing mine)! I've owned several Acura vehicles: 2003 Acura TL Type-S, 2012 Acura TL, and the 2018 MDX. Each of them are quality vehicles however, the ZDX is by far the smoothest handling/riding, fastest, and technology savvy Acura! I've always liked the Bose and ELS sound system, but the B & O system's by far the best I've heard! There's a big difference in watching pictures, videos, and test-driving one for yourself. For those of you who haven't done so, just test drive one (trust me, you won't regret it)!
