As active duty military, it pisses me off when any person uses the "my brother served" or "my dad served" to be a dick when theyve never served themselves. Yes we serve to protect the rights of the people in this country, but dont use our service to be a dick to people on an airplane or where ever else. As far as im concerned, most people that serve would immediately fix themselves to not be an inconvenience to those around them anyway. That makes me sick.
I worked at a bookstore for awhile and we only had discounts for teachers and members. People who actually served would ask if we had a military discount and be totally cool when I explained that we didn't. If they were nice I would usually use coupons from previous transactions to get them a membership for free, it lasted a year and was a pretty good deal. So many military wives would throw an absolute fit and call us un-American. Needless to say they did not get any perks from me.
Military wives deal with so much though. My wife got put thru 2 combat deployments waiting for me at home hoping I didn’t die each time while going to college still and having our child during the second one. She deserves a discount as much as any military member HOOAH

As a teacher can confirm the silence treatment works very very effectively, especially if you do it while looking over glasses. I would never have done it while standing over a student but if I had kids that were talking loudly while I was, I’d start the stare while sitting at my desk. It generally takes them 10/20 seconds to catch on that it’s silent and EVERYONE is now looking at them. As with any business, the airlines can refuse service to anyone. I have no issue with freedom of speech, but I also respect a business rights to refuse service, it's a free country, which means they can refuse service. Pick your battles people.
People think freedom of speech is an absolute rule no matter where you are. Constitutional rights (aka the freedom of speech) are for government entities to uphold, not a free pass that allows people to berate store employees because their coupon is expired.
Can they refuse service based on ideology? But then they might refuse service to the wrong skin toned person and it could be misconstrued as racism… slippery slopes.
There are so many more exceptions to our 1st Amendment rights than most of us Americans think. Here are some exceptions in their classifications: Categories of speech that are given lesser or no protection by the First Amendment, (and therefore may be restricted), include obscenity, fraud, child pornography, speech integral to illegal conduct, speech that incites imminent lawless action, speech that violates intellectual property law, true threats, & commercial speech such as advertising. Defamation that causes harm to reputation is a tort & also an exception to free speech. Along with communicative restrictions, less protection is afforded to uninhibited speech when the government acts as subsidizer or speaker, is an employer, controls education, or regulates the mail, airwaves, legal bar, military, prisons, and immigration.

When it comes to the airplane freakout guy, I don't think most people understand when they purchase a ticket (from anywhere), you are entering into a contract whether you know it / like it or not. That includes following their rules / policies / etc. For instance, you can smoke a cigarette in public but you can't on a plane. You can curse at a person, but you can't to airport or flight staff without being removed. You entered into the contract so you have to follow their rules that you technically agreed to follow. Simple year 1 law school or pre-law contract law class.
I bet the guy has seen signs that say "no shoes, no shirt, no service" since he was a child. Don't need a law class to understand people can deny service, or at least how to be decent person.
To be fair, the black guy contacted Delta airlines for their policy and asked if he could wear a shirt that says f Trump and they said it’s ok. Regardless of political beliefs I still think he shouldn’t wear it. Anyone who wears f Trump or f Biden attire are lame and retards.

People think freedom of speech is an absolute rule no matter where you are. Constitutional rights (aka the freedom of speech) are for government entities to uphold, not a free pass that allows people to berate store employees because their coupon is expired.

Categories of speech that are given lesser or no protection by the First Amendment, (and therefore may be restricted), include obscenity, fraud, child pornography, speech integral to illegal conduct, speech that incites imminent lawless action, speech that violates intellectual property law, true threats, & commercial speech such as advertising.

The landlord got sick of her complaining so started apologetically asking me if I could move my car. He knew that she was in the wrong but in the name of keeping her out of his hair, he would ask if I minded moving it, I always did. It was actually really unfair. I was so happy to see the back of that particular neighbour when I moved! She was a nightmare in many other ways as well. I will not miss her. Gordana, screw you! 😂
The way he looked up at her when she said you make a lot of money. He was so hoping this was a blackmail situation.
Dude, you're so enjoyable to watch like always. Have a great day Leon and Mrs. Lush too if she sees this!
wild that 20 years after 9/11 people STILL don't understand that your rights don't apply when you're on an airplane, it's like being on a ship, too much of a risky situation for everyone to waltz onto these craft with their full rights and egos. Anything that can be perceived as helping to cause panic or disharmony on a crowded craft is dangerous.
Lol you really got sold on hard on those post 9/11 laws huh, they don't do shit haven't prevented anything either.
Man you just made me realize that situation had to have happened on ships. Imagine being on a months long journey, fighting seasickness, scurvy, lice, being stuck in the same place with the same people and one of them is an entitled asshole.
That older lady teacher looks like she’s from a horror movie
HELLBENDER💯
She was creepy af
She probably died inside 20 years ago putting up with the kids trying to be the next big social media hit.
Love the grim reaper who was trying to disappear into the plane rather than be associated with her ahole assigned seatmate
The girl that pushed that lady is LUCKY that lady didnt hit her head harder. Ive heard of people going to prison for that crap. People get into a fight, one pushes the other, they fall and hit their head, die, and now the other goes to prison for 20 years.
That crazy Uber driver was from Nashville, TN. I've been on that road hundreds of times. She could have gone about 1 more mile up the road and there was an exit where he could have been safely dropped off.
15:00 Constitutional rights don't apply when you are using a service that is privatized. They can have whatever policies they want that supercede the constitution, Including a policy that bans wearing clothing with obscene language on it. The fact that people bring the constitution up when they are in the middle of a private business just goes to show they don't understand how the constitution actually works.
They know it, they just don't care. All the freedom of speech blabbering is just them gaslighting the world to get on social media.

It is though: the Constitution protects the fundamental rights of citizens from attack by the government . The First Amendment generally does not apply to the relationship between citizens and private businesses (there a couple of limited exceptions to this)

it's hard to have a judgement on the teacher one based on that one clip and one clip alone, they were both unbelievably disrespectful to one another, so there's clearly a history, and without seeing that history it's impossible to know which one has more of a right to not respect the other. It's painfully obvious that this is nowhere near their first rodeo with one another though.
Yeah lol
That girl was pissing me off. She acts like she's so clever and righteous and I can't stand those people. I grew up in a very hard area and I can tell she has a cushy life, people don't act like that where I'm from because you know you can cross the wrong person and they'll beat that out of you. I hope she learns before she enters the real world
@𝓈𝒾𝓃𝒾𝓈𝓉𝓇𝒶 how did you tag my name and then immediately misspell it?
I'd expect her to listen to the teacher and not openly argue with her like she was in charge of the class. Again, she was running her mouth like someone that has never had a consequence for her actions. I find it suspect that you're defending that kind of behavior
@𝓈𝒾𝓃𝒾𝓈𝓉𝓇𝒶 she asked her to go back to her seat and waited until she did, my guess is this isn't her first altercation with her and she's sick of arguing with her. So yeah, you defending her is suspect(its an expression, just because you're ignorant of something doesn't mean it doesn't exist), and leads me to believe you were/are one of these obnoxious entitled children
@@stephengrigg5988 indeed. I need far more info because I was that smart lil bitch who would be helping classmates. but I was smart to know if I was called I was disrupting. and I had good relationships with my teachers so they knew I wasn't doing anything with bad intent and I would stop. I need more context for this because we miss a lot of nuance. the teacher could be unreasonable, but the student could just be trying to be in your face by being technically nice but disrespectful. like idk

My Dad used to pull the same shit that teacher did when I was a kid, only coming from him, it would put the fear of god into me. He never had to get physical. "The look" was enough to know, I done fucked up and it might be a good idea to leave town for a few days 😬
You just know her mama didn't give her ever give her the look so she sees it as a microaggression
A simple solution for me as a teacher: confiscate all phones before class starts.

Than you for putting the video of PCI , the predator catchers in your Brainworms !
And yes, TCAP-like channels are growing on UA-cam, with sometimes views approaching the million, like the EDP catch . You could find all sorts of content with these, funny ones, horrifying ones, emotional ones, and sometimes all in one !
You have a lot more respect for teachers as a adult, cuz you understand all the bs they put up with everyday better
while i agree kids can be brutal, i still think there’s something fundamentally wrong with our education system and it’s good to finally expose the bad stuff. that teacher was still abysmal at handling that situation. she shouldn’t be a teacher if she can’t properly communicate with her students.
I feel bad for being a bit of a class clown in my school years. Now I've been out for a long time but I understand the fustration. Hell my financial math teacher damn near lost his shit dealing with our class for a couple of months and had to really bring down the hammer because you couldn't get the zoo of teenagers to shut their mouths long enough too listen to anything.
@@iamsocks yeah true that the classes I was in was usually the ones with most misfits and I was always quite , teachers only resort to silent treatment when the class wouldn't stop and she would look at the class from a distance until we got quite then she'd talk again or lecture the class on how rude we are , which worked but this is clearly just a student who got carried away even if she was helping her friend and she got a bit 2 chatty and now the teacher is just staring at her and it came off as intimidation which it prob wasn't but 4 real she could have handled it like normal , like oh I don't mind you helping but please keep it on the down low.
As an educator, it is so easy to tell that student, "I love that you want to support your peer, but I need to know what they know. If they need help, I will be more than happy to help." Then again, if I know the student knows the content, who even cares if they are helping each other?
My math teachers sucked ass. Every single one of them. My peers are why I passed math. Let them help each other if that is what they are actually doing...
It's about respecting authority. The student in the flannel was clearly a proto-karen, so it was good to see the teacher shut her down.
@@UnitZER0 I agree
@@UnitZER0 The teacher is the Karen: an entitled psycho who drastically over-estimates her own importance. I'm glad the student stood up for herself. "Respect authority" is some Karen-ass shit to say, by the way.
But a student helping another student complete the work is also cheating if it’s not permitted. So even though it is a lovely thought I guess it’s also a bad one since it’s probably not allowed judging by the teacher‘s reaction. What should be noted is the disrespect and challenging tone that this slag heap of chromosomes feels entitled to have.

Dude I binged all your videos like a year ago. Somehow forgot about your channel and saw this and remembered how funny you are and had to watch. Missed your jokes man!
Leon is such a reasonable guy.
I love how the woman seated next to the airline guy put up her hood so her face was completely concealed. 😂😂

When he noticed she was going to spit and he said "Get wrecked bitch" i started cracking up just how he said it 😂😂😂
These type of videos give me much joy. Thanks Leon for awesome content as always 🙂
Unfortunately that UA-cam channel probably just handed that guy a get out of jail free card. There's a reason police and prosecutors say not to run these stings because unless you're very careful you're gonna fuck the evidence up (most likely chain of custody) somehow and as a result all of its going to be inadmissible and its going to make it more difficult to prosecute if they do their own investigation.
yeah tbh i would rather leave it to professionals. That same shit happened with to catch a predator with them going rogue.
As if the cops are actually ever going to look into this guy?
@@daintycaked Going rogue ? the second video, both women are in the wrong and idiots
12:03 - "Most carriers reserve the right to refuse boarding to passengers wearing offensive clothing. The verbiage is intentionally vague, but it typically refers to profanity in text or general lewdness. If an airline deems your clothing to be offensive, you may be asked to change.

I did NOT know this.
So... good ta know ^_^!
It hurts seeing the guy at 14:18, he wants to try to show off his knowledge of the Constitution but doesn't realize that the amendments are meant to prevent the government from infringing on your rights. The first amendment is so you cannot be suppressed by the government for your expression of thought even if it goes against what the government likes. It does not exclude you from doing whatever you want with private businesses however. They can enforce policies onto you if you say things they don't like and have a right to refuse service to you.
He’s press who was active and covering the truckers freedom convoys and all that, so that’s his reasoning for bringing it up. He was just doing his job, while at the same time showing support for the movement.
@@SoCalHypercarSpotters if by showing support making the rest of the group look stupid then yeah showing support if you don't do what the flight staff tell you they can kick you off every airline I've ever been on has that rule

It's the same thing for masks. There doesn't have to be a mandate in place for a company to force you to wear a mask, if you shop there, you agree to their policies, whatever they may be.
People that scream about this shit in this way usually aren’t smart enough to differentiate that the first amendment doesn’t protect them from a private business’ decision not to serve you for being an asshole.
On the sweater thing... ya think they would've said anything if the shirt said "I don't like Biden" because I'm pretty sure the issue was the "FUCK" thats plastered for everyone to see.
