Just found these videos- and I’m so grateful for them! I bought an LC 250 1958 as soon as they came out. I cleaned up my 2016 JKUR and said goodbye to owning 2 Jeeps over the last 27 years!
Thanks... Question, what kind of hoses or steel tubing lines are those that you are running the cables under just before you join/connect cables together. Are they brake or gas lines? Also on tire outside side... The cable on mine does not have generous cable length to get over the frame like in your example..... I did not notice another grommet or holder on the cable to remove to lengthen the cable length. My connection point for both cables in ending up on top of frame for cable connector underneath the steel tube I am asking about. Curious if this would be a concern or any recommendations would be helpful. Thank you.
Great job. I went ahead and moved the wires. I didn’t install the plate. Will be putting 285-75-18. Hey could you do a video on replacing the painted panels below the headlights. I am already getting rock chips. I would like to put the black plastic panels that are on the 1958 model. Keep the videos coming.
Is this to prevent rub on the inside? Do you only have to do this with stock wheels? If I get +35 offset wheels with the 35’s, I won’t have to relocate the stabilizer bracket right?
I can’t really speak to a +35 offset, depends on tire width in combination with wheel offset. But yes, you don’t want to scrape your tire on that harness or bracket.
Silly question , but why not foam wrap the other end of the connector? Those wires are exposed. Also do you use a special kind of foam due to the heat and elements exposure underneath the vehicle???

Thanks for subscribing! 1958 doesn’t have the KDSS disconnect, so this mod won’t be required for 35”s on yours. But thanks for watching our content!
Thank you for this video.... I will be doing this tonight to my 2024 toyota land cruiser
Good luck!

I believe he said something about the wires rubbing. My assumption the other side will not be rubbing anything so foam wrap isn't needed 🤷🏿♂️
LC is gay 4 cyl
