Man, this hits close to home for me. About 4 years ago my dad was diagnosed with Stage IV Cirrhosis. It was caused my hepatitis that went unknown and untreated for years and it was too late when they caught it. Michael, it's heartbreaking to watch someone deteriorate day after day from this horrible disease. I watch my father go from pretty good to the point where he was sleeping for 18-20 hours a day, dropped 75 pounds and couldn't hardly eat much more than a plate of green beans. It took 3 1/2 years from the time of diagnosis to the day he received a transplant. 6 months later, my father has fully recovered and I'm thankful to God for that. Man, if you ever want to talk to me for advice or support or anything, reach out. I'm here for you guys and I'm praying and very hopeful for an AGP recovery.

Don't you think if doug knew the stage he would have told them when he said that AGP had the liver problem? I think Doug was trying to tell you that your dad was going to die very soon and you should be with him. There's no "stage" of cirrhosis, once your liver dies it dies. It's not going to get better.
Cirrhosis is not when the liver is dead its when the liver is damaged, but that being said Pickelboy might want to try and be with his father a little more often since at AGPs age health problems like this could cut his life span down

Thank you for sharing your family's story. My father is in his early 60's and was diagnosed with advanced cirrhosis of the liver. It suck. I'm glad AGP's was caught early and that he can manage it. Positive and healing thoughts to everyone.

This is the 1st time I've seen this video. I used to work in the medical field. Look up ascites. I knew AGP had end stage cirrhosis thru different videos. He kept dropping hints but wouldn't say the word. He had to keep going get fluid taken out of his abdominal cavity. One of the symptoms of cirrhosis he had on his back was spider-like blood vessels. He was so weak when they sent him home because they couldn't help him anymore, I knew they put him on hospice care. I really wished he could have made it to Christmas. I'm so sorry you lost your Dad. My Daddy was in the hospital for anemia. They sent him home too early and I found him gone the next morning when I woke up. Anemia can cause heart attacks. That was his 2nd one in 9 years. The hospital was at fault. It took 3 years for his death to get easier on me. Grief is a long process. Still praying for yall.
