Thank you for hosting me. I feel that this video shines a light on a powerful way to use this in retirement!
Agreed! I'm excited for the follow-ups will do for this and other retirement topics!
Great information.
Daniel you and Caleb have done it again!! What a beautiful podcast on a subject where there is a lot of misunderstandings.
Funny enough while speaking with one of my mentors recently we discussed doing a podcast about this very topic because he closed a deal that was a 22 million single premium MEC. You beat me to the punch we still may have the conversation but I'm so happy this information is out here nonetheless! Keep up the great work you guys.
And Caleb your content has been on absolute fire as of late!!
Thank you so much! Please send me your episode when you release it! I’d love to check it out!
@@cwall216Thank you!
Delighted to see someone demystify the misunderstood and much-maligned MEC!
Glad you enjoyed the video 🙏
Appreciate you taking time to comment
Thank you! Great alliteration!! Haha
One of my biggest "aha's" of this year was the power of a MEC contract. We have a small book of MEC IULs that are designed exactly for the purposes described here. They have robust Chronic Illness and Terminal Illness riders. They have a waiver of surrender rider (which, we've used for some of them because the interest rate changes have been so drastic). They're usually simplified issue because these folks are usually older. They have tax deferral on excess cash + a multiplier effect for LTC protection. We have a few policies that have a 10-11% cap on the S&P 500 allocation, which I'd say is pretty good deal for money that was supposed to be in cash or CDs.
Yeah, this interest rate environment makes them so much fun to use! The caps are incredible right now! Thank you for the comment! Glad to hear that you’re using them to serve people! Thank you for watching!
@DallinBunnell Would you mind sharing the carrier(s) and product(s) you use in such cases?
@@paulhanley3098 I don't know if this is an IMO product, but one we've used recently is the United Life Legacy Accel
