I was afraid of IELTS as naturally we're scared of all tests but I thought this was going to be way harder... I was wrong. I had only a week to prepare and got a band 7 overall. I just watched a few UA-cam videos like this one, took practice tests on british council & IDP websites, and gave it a shot! Also, the result came out the next day (super fast!). I gave a computer-based exam on 17 August, 24. Plus I was sure my speaking didn't go well but guess what, my score's the highest in it! I think there's lenient marking. I gave it through British Council. Listening 7.5 Reading 6.5 Writing 6 Speaking 7 I must say listening was the easiest for me. One advice I'll give is to stick to paper-based if your typing's slow. I decided on computer one as I wanted the results early. Although my typing's way to slow, I managed somehow 😂
Congrats on the amazing results! 🎉 You totally nailed it, even with just a week of prep! It’s awesome to hear that the computer-based test worked out for you, and your speaking score is proof that you did great. Thanks for sharing your tips-super helpful for others! 😊
@@Chef_Feeyi don't be. You can do it! Believe in yourself. Trust me I'm getting tensed searching & applying for scholarships right now as I'm done with the test 😭
You’ve got this! 💪 It’s completely normal to feel scared, but taking the leap is the first step toward success. Keep going, and believe in yourself-you’re stronger than you think! 🌟😊
Thank you for the very helpful video on IELTS reading tips, strategies, and potential solutions. I am curious whether it is a good idea to preview the questions before skimming the reading passages as a time-saving strategy.
Many students worry and spend to much time reading very carefully everything. Instead focus on the question and then scan the text for key words. Once you have found the area of text then read this small area of text. Does it answer the actual question? Move on ✔️
👋 Hi everyone, I'm excited to share this video with you! 🎥 Whether you're just starting your IELTS journey or looking to refine your reading skills, this guide is packed with useful tips and strategies.
Hi in the IELTS ready member listening mock 1 1.25 meters was given wrong can you explain why is that so even tho its mentioned both spellings will be accepted. Thanks in advance.
Hi! In IELTS, both British and American spellings are generally accepted, so "1.25 meters" (US spelling) and "1.25 metres" (UK spelling) should both be correct. However, the issue could be related to specific test instructions or formatting expectations in the listening mock. I recommend double-checking the instructions given in that particular mock test. If both spellings were supposed to be accepted but one was marked wrong, it may be a technical error. We will look into it.
Good Morning How Are You hope you're doing well I'm from Afghanistan and I'm doing Cambridge IELTS General Training. How can I contact you for more details I need your support thanks.
