I remember in the manga, the same greedy guild members were so against the MC that they downright refused to take his medicine for the Black Death and they died off screen, they at least weren't cruel enough to prevent their families from taking it so there's that at least.
This is also mentioned in the anime, where there is a scene of the guild master throwing away the medicine, and it is hinted that not everyone could be saved.

Not everyone could be saved, that was mostly because people both took it too seriously and messed themselves up and those who didn't take it seriously enough. 78% of those who died, died both from and with covid but not a lot of the deaths was from covid alone, but many comorbidities where also went nuclear to the body. Many more deaths of older people are because governors like in Michigan and New York where they literally said they would not open new facilities to house old covid patients and put them back in the general population of old folks homes and murdered many others for no other reason that trusting Fauci who literally told everybody there was nothing to worry about and no masks where needed until he finally said he had to lie because the science and medical communities chose to say they needed the masks and couldn't do their job if the general public bought all the masks. more people could very well have been saved if Fauci did his job in November of 2019 instead of waiting until june 2020 to basically say he had to lie to help in the long run.

I'm gonna be honest. I liked this show while watching it. For an Isekai, it was definitely on the high end of the scale. But the fact that I clicked on this without realizing it was THIS show, makes me think it might be a tad.. forgettable?

Then congrats, you're like me (Al though redo of healer isn't based off reincarnation but time travel, reading the other half was enough to put it in my head. I still have nightmares.) (P.S. Some thing else to think about is this anime is set in a medieval time-frame, and if they were told by trusted doctors they could avoid painful very visible death of the black death they would be likely to listen and it is also shown not everyone did.

I was gonna say less, but I think that just Alabasta, skypea, enies lobby, impel down, marineford and every encounter with a new crew member would be around 2 hours each and I didn't even considered counting the post time-skip
With the natural tech level of the world and a bit of help from someone who knows the concept it wouldn't be to difficult. Gram stains are a much older tech than you would think and is late 1800s like x-ray which given the development (still the age of sail and nobility but given the city probably 1700s equivalent) pulling off rudimentary gram stains would be viable but they would not be very clear.

It’s just disappointing that even with so much visible effort put into the video, the way to actually say the name properly is skimmed over.

I hate the plot to the story, it takes to many inspirations from isekais that it’s obvious. And how the hell did he find a dude to the Black Death when it doesn’t even have a cure,he gets all his info from the real world and there is no cure to the Black Death, this anime is the worst of the worst. You can’t give me reasons why it’s a good anime, when there is so many more that have a more accurate plot.
