In our last Case Study, Ali visits Max, an aggressive, bucking 18hands warmblood who doesn't like new riders and has a big issue with trust, and has caused severe injury to his rider by breaking her ribs!.
Ali talks us through his initial assessment of Max and explains some of the horse's issues. After some groundwork, we see instant results to the disbelief of his owner riding Max without fear or injury!

This is not a problem horse. This horse is just being a horse. This is an owner problem. A simple case of lack of leadership from the owner. If you demonstrate weak or confusing leadership with a horse, It WILL develop behavioral problems. That's a FACT.... The owner is the one that needs training to become a better leader otherwise the problems will come back over time.
