Could you make a tutorial for an half cylinder under uniform compressive deformation in z-direction at one end, while the other end and the faces in the longitudinal and vertical cut are constraints in X and Z directions

I'm not familar with such approach. Typically bolts are modeled with either solid, beam, or connectors elements.
