It's crazy that I can get a guitar with stainless steel frets for $170, but can't find a neck with stainless steel frets for less than $300.

Not bad at all. I don't like the baseball bat necks. This kinda reminded me of one of my old MIM Strats.
Oh, frets-they are not jumbos-not sure what to compare them to.
