If Maister just buckled down on the up-smashes and stuck to what works this could literally be him. In the t10 they generally struggle with the same people, but outside of that is where Miya is so much more dominant. It's sad, but the fact is even after four year most ppl suck vs. Game and Watch. But that's *fine.* If they don't adapt, you don't either. Take the juggle, it's free. They're running into your d-smash? Let them. Predictable recovery? Kill them for it. The main difference between these two is adv state, Miya finds any little opening and they all take seventy. No random up-smashes, no guessing when he doesn't have to, he just does it. And he's #2 in the world because of it.
I do think that a lot of players just forget how to zone when they play Miya though. Like sure he's more aggressive but it's Game and Watch for goodness sakes, how many times are you gonna allow yourself to get dash attacked in neutral?
