I've been iterating on this idea a bit in T16 8mods since your first wisp scarab video and have found an arrangement I like quite a lot - the secret sauce is Alva. Instead of the expensive Glittering/Bloodlines scarabs, I've been running 2x Incursion of Champion scarabs. Along with the atlas nodes for Alva, you get 4 incursions every map with all magic monsters. The real kicker is adding deli and beyond - the magic conversion affects ALL monsters in your incursion, not just native ones. Idk what the numbers are, but I wouldn't be surprised if I'm doubling or tripling the number of magic monsters I encounter per map this way. I'm sure this could be adapted to T17s and would probably be better, but I just hate dealing with those mods and would rather quickly blast 16s.
I've been thinking about Incursion too for a budget setup, but my mind was on the Scarab of Invasion one as a budget Bloodlines replacement, (but I don't know the base number of packs per map to check if 12 to 16 additional ones are even worth it), your idea seems much better. There's one big question though: are the incursion monsters considered native monsters or not? The native (or natural? I forgot lol) monsters are really important cause they're the reason why juicing T17 with no league mechanics is so profitable. This is also the reason why he's not going for beyond, the difference in drops between beyond and native monsters is felt immediately. I will try testing your variant as I really wish a budget version with a similar feel is viable.

Do beyond monsters have less loot inherently? Do they not get buffed by eldritch altars? Anecdotally, I’ve noticed a pretty substantial bump in loot from spec’ing endless beyond and merging radius nodes. Haven’t collected real data, but the “feel” is easier to track with the loot bombs you get after each incursion. It’s also noticeable when I get more/less quant altars in the map. Coincidentally, since dropping the influence pack size scarab I haven’t noticed a huge drop off in eater altars either. I guess since you technically have a cap on those per map and the pack size is already so large with lineage and 8mod. I may test some without beyond and just go back to shrines to put more “native” monsters in the map. I also need to test some on T17 even though I dread it lol
Great analysis and great video. Always learn more and more, improving my own game as well. Still learning the scarab juicing. I need to start pushing deli content and actually spending currency to roll/invest in maps. My investment is more like 2 basic+2 advanced+risk/titanic and almost chisel+alch map only :D. Also adding what you all pros are probably thinking... should we skip all maps that don't have wildwood... will be fun currency drain and price inflation for T17. You might get friends to clear the maps without ww and focus only wildwood.
I appreciate you trying this strat so I don't have to. I feel like you run any other t17 strat you would double or triple your profit in you first 30 maps instead of being like 200div in the hole.

After the video dropped glittering went up to 3d each, chisels are now 4:1d from 6-7:1d , wisp 8:1d from 10:1d , bloodlines 1:1d from 0.8-0.7:1d. The strat is very fun and i know it is negative d/h until that big drop but damn you bleed way more currency now to keep this strat going.
Yeah. If you want to make more reliable currency but keep the overall feel, try scarab focus maps with double risk instead of wisps, and hordes instead of glitter.
This kind of game play is so different to what I'm used to, it's really interesting. Any idea what you are going to do with all that currency you farmed?

The investment cost is reaaally high on this steategy, I don't think it's for me, I will try without glittering and maybe also with 2* incursion of champions (2 wisp 2 incursion 1 lineage) like some people in standard are doing. @@kTeoo I've been running it in league on T16 8mod deli and would say I average a tink every other map or so. On hot streaks it can be one per map average. I haven't tried it on T17 yet as I can do T16s so fast, but I would think it would just be better?

For now, i'm running a variant of Snoo's wisp farm from his last video. instead of using a glittering scarab, i use an influencing scarab of hordes. that makes me drop a TON of altars per map which means more dupes and more quant in general. i'd say its almost the same power as a glittering for 1/200 of the price or less idk lol and plus, i did not spec into scarabs like he did. i run my tree with alva and it seems to be doing great even without the champion scarabs (because of bloodline i assume) EDIT: i simply don't run scarabs because i don't vibe with clicking 100s of times per map, instead i convert all of it into a few tinks in incusion drops.
Ive been running maps exactly rolled like yours, 55%+ PS and over 200% currency rolls and i still havent dropped a mirror or hinekoras since doing this strat about 200 maps ago. Either youre getting lucky with these drops or im getting seriously screwed or both. Ive even had 6k triple wisp juiced maps and barely get a divine
According to his stats his drops in 100 maps are 3x lucky as it supposed to be. He got 1 hinekora so you should drop it 1:300 maps like these which would be in line with you not dropping anything yet.

Based on what I'm seeing so far, I'm estimating one lock every ~120 maps, and 1 mirror every ~360 maps. This is with an abysmal wildwood spawn rate though.

Yea glittering are now 3 divines a piece on the currency exchange, and there aren't even that many. I did the same strat for about 30 maps a couple days ago and was at a loss of like 20% of initial investment. Very surprised to see you're at a loss without the mirror and lock, is that unlucky? You do roll high currency and packsize rolls and somehow still at minus -2, thoughts on that?
With influencing scarab of hordes instead of glittering, and with no super jackpots like locks, magebloods, mirrors. This was always coming out positive 20+ div per hour. But with glittering it increases the rate of those jackpots but takes the low-end profit spectrum down to slightly in the red. So I'm not surprised by that result.
Hey Snoo trying ur farm despite not having good wildwood senseor widescreen (pain) but i can clear the maps good up to boss without revealing to many altars. Problem is I tried copying ur filter to match what ur doing and its not strict. Lots of chromes etc popping up.
Hmm questionable, but I don't like how the Harvest itself spawns and no monsters spawn around it. If I was targeting scarabs moreso, I might unblock it.
So, I really want to use a headhunter because one dropped for me the first time ever this league. I have a 400 div budget. I know that's probably not enough for this kind of content, but does anyone have a reccomendation for doing something similar? I currently have a poison zoomancer that can comfortably do most t17 mods (but none with negative modifiers to minions) at 2 deli orbs. I'd like it to be at least at that strength, but hopefully more.

You need to be lucky, like super lucky to pay for the cost of this strategy. Not even talking about gear where you have multi mirror build that is done/done.
I'm looking forward to seeing how lucky is required. I am no doubt riding high luck after 100 maps. That's why I do 1000 for a strategy like this, to get to the bottom of it.

Good long run strat, I recommend boss rushing for more player altars, and looting after clearing for max glittering stacks.

i tried a few maps with this and i get a div/valdo once each 3 to 5 maps. it's not viable without the enormous 200%+ IIQ from legacy gear

It'd be roughly 40% less often. So maybe one lock every 200 maps and a mirror ever 600 maps.
I've never seen an 80% reservation corruption on the heatshiver before. Is that a separate, rarer individual mod from the 90% reservation version?
you have to do some complicated step with helmet drop from trialmaster and you will have 80% heatshiver

how's the difference between 40% deli and 80% deli? is the amount of loot that significant?
It's about 20% more loot from about half the monsters on the map (the better half, I'd say). Maybe 10-15% more loot overall.

My sacred orb ratio is super off. So far ive dropped zero sacred orbs and i have one lock and 2 mirrors (not duped)

You did your math wrong. You said you only invested 490 divs..1k maps would be 4900 divs
These are segmented 100 at a time. In fact, round 2 will cost 520div because the Glittering scarab went up.
