@@Xxnate500 the views will come as long as I keep providing value🙏 thanks for watching the video all the way through and leaving a comment very appreciated
We buy these for our shop to spray paint our valves before shipping and the past 3 or 4 they have been leaking at the trigger rod seal. Well we did a little investigating and according to the parts list, when the manufacturer was assembling the guns they left out a washer that helps to compress an O-ring around the trigger rod and paint would leak past and all over the gun. I brought the last one back and told HF about this issue and I got the next one up and hope it is better. These had been great for what we are painting and had no other issues.
Thanks for sharing that cause I’ve been wondering this too but I’m not a paint gun scientist lol, I’m going to look into this, they all seem to fail the exact same way, I have a pile of these I might be able to save them, good thing I didn’t throw them away
Thanks bro, your detailed step-by-step breakdown was on point. Cleared up a lot of my confusion. Also, is there a specific size compressor tank you’d recommend for like hobby type air painting?
Thank you for leaving a comment and watching, get atleast a 20+ gallon so it can run smoothly and you don’t run out of air so fast, but stick to using this spray gun because it requires the least amount of air to function out of all of the choices at harbor freight, also I recommend the biggest air compressor you’re comfortable buying, obviously if you get a 60 gallon I would say get a blackwidow at Hf, but you can definitely get away with using 21 gallon with the purple one. maybe even smaller if you’re painting 1 part at a time, thanks again man 🫡
Watching this video has me excited to paint my engine bay!!! Miss painting with a gun. Last project I did was my hood and front bumper with the HF paint gun. Honestly for what it was it came out way better then I would have expected especially since it was my first run at it with a spray gun. Awesome video and perfect tips for a setup!
@@jamesquinnie7573 after the how to prep video the paint and clear video will come after that, i might use $70 spraygun for paint and clear or maybe one of the black widow ones they have at HF, but if you really want to see the purple one do clear, there are vids on my instagram when i painted the door jambs, its the same as the youtube, @stxncesol
I know you’re not getting a lot of views yet, but this is a quality video thanks man

How much pressure do you set your tank setting, not the one at the gun,?
Il check for you, I set the compressor up 8 years ago and never touched the settings il check tomorrow
Show a vid of spraying clear with this gun?!
Yes that video is coming. I’m filming the how-to prep video right now. This spraygun lays clear very nice
@Stxncesol I definitely wanna see this gun in action, laying clear down smooth💯
