Vastedge is just so weird to me. Why make a slot machine based on a fighting game? Japan is strange. Where can I find more about this game's story?

That is sort of the biggest oddity of the series but it is pretty much a thing a lot of video game companies did, especially in the 2010s. I recommend checking out WoolieVersus’s Guilty Gear Lore: Heaven or Hell video series to get the whole story. For Vastedge specifically, go to part 4 of his video series. Should be easy to find in UA-cam.
