@GN I just saw a recent video of the U2 in 2015 (ua-cam.com/video/e4McvvYZu2E/v-deo.html) [search out time stamp 2:07]. Even in their last year on the system, these original trolley announcements were still there!!

I rode the blue line trolley many times when I lived in the Civilized San Diego area and ride it when I visit home there. It's the best way to go to Downtown San Diego and also to the Q for home football games of San Diego State. I will be riding it from Chula Vista E Street Station to the Santa Fe Amtrak Depot to catch the Pacific Surfliner on 5/27/2017 for Oxnard to visit there & will return by the Pacific Surfliner back to San Diego & then catch the Blue line trolley for Chula Vista E Street Trolley Station.
